The First Lesson (VALUS)

[VALUS]

"Yeah, in your form you sweat, you shiver, you hold back."

He said as he felt his own form fighting to be exposed from the huge use of energy. The demon side of his wasn't as strong as his humans but still his smile never left his face as he walked to her and placed a hand on her cheek to try to calm her down slightly.

"I am not just a teacher to you. I am a friend to all."

He was speaking the truth, but Yaly did stir something in him but that was a different case as he sighed.

"I can tell something is bothering you. You need to face it in order to beable to use your full power."

He said as he took his hand away to run around to grab his guitar case. While he did he put his gun into the holster as he looked back at Yaly.

[SEKTO]

"I'm not sweatting!" Yalya barked the words angrily, her wing coming up slightly but returning to its 'at ease' state, she had almost checked what she knew was true, but she couldn't help it.

Don't show weakness! Don't show your fears! Her body felt like it was collapsing around her, that even in the empty space of that field she was being pressed by invisible walls. She could hear voices in the back of her head and fought to ignore them.

"I just never... had the chance to practice with my powers. No one would teach me!"

A half-truth, her inability to enter her harpy form stunted her growth, at the age she was supposed to be learning to control her powers she was mastering her human disguise, and at the age she was supposed to gain her control over wind she was hiding herself behind this visage of mortal flesh.

"I... well..." Talk about it, say it! She heard the words in the back of her head but they were drowned out by memories that made her shiver despite sweating once more, finding it hard to stay in this form, at least like this... "I... just need more practice... I think..." She didn't seem like she was going to open up but the doubt was readily visible, until her next words: "S-so, how about that payment? When do you want it..." She walked towards Valus, slowly spreading her wings and resting them lightly on his shoulders, her voice suddenly turning seductive.

"...and how?"

Valus crossed his arms as he put his guitar case on his back and shook his head.

She reminded him a lot of him when he was younger. Everyone could tell something was wrong but no one would care. She never had the time to practice? She could just fly around that was really all she needed to do.

Valus practically took out a building while testing his powers in town once. It was quite funny though. He enjoyed things falling over. He sighed and looked around at the place. He did a small amount amount of damage to the place. If he went any farther he would have destroyed the place and Roxi would have had his head on a stick

He put his hands in his pocket and sighed.

"I am willing to teach you when ever."

He smiled so she wouldn't know what he was getting at. Valus knew her game and he was going to play it till the end. He watched her walk forward.

"No, you gotta open up to someone as it is." Valus said smiling and closing his eyes. He had won this little charade as he turned to walk away. He noticed her wings going around him as he opened his eyes and he heard her talk about the payment and he turned around and smiled as he chuckled a bit.

"Well.. Maybe you could join me for a small dinner.. Maybe a play." He was putting it out as a full out date for this. He wanted to help out Yaly as much as possible so he was going to do what it took. For the most part Valus was quite interested in Yaly but he too was a master of deception as he kissed her forehead.

"And... maybe something after if it goes well"

He said with a chuckle. Trying to lighten the mood.

Yalya looked at him, did he just load that case up with weapons? What the heck kind school was this?

"You're willing to teach me? Well you set the time and the place, just... not normal class hours..." Yalya was still shivering, trying to make it look like she was just cold, despite it not being all that cold out at all.

Then he started talking about opening up. All Yaly could do was turn her head away, unable to make eye contact, unable to open up... She couldn't even admit it to herself, could she? Then he mentioned the dinner and looked back to him, smirking a bit. "getting a student to treat you to food and a show? Oh, for shame~" She made it sound like a tease as she grinned, moving back a bit but then suddenly going wide-eyed when he kissed her forehead.

She suddenly bristled, feathers all sticking out as she started to hide her face in her wings and splutter in a slight panic. When was the last time she EVER got flustered like this?! She stared at him. "Well why don't you? Right now then? I told you I would, it's how I'm paying for the lessons!" She had snapped like that because of how he made her suddenly act up, how he took her by surprise, crossing her wings indignantly and making a sudden expression if indignation, her hair and feathers standing on end.

it was an amazingly comical sight.

Valus listened to her speak and he sighed.

"Just incase you were wondering, the blade is a... Friend of mine."

'I hate you Valus.'

He heard from the blade.

Though he was right. For a long time they were good friends until he came here. The blades power was diminished towards almost being a normal sword forcing Valus to mainly rely on his own sword arm.

"and the gun, it was my fathers before he died.. So more like a memento."

He chuckled at her comment at her speaking at his Date-like action.

"Well, a gentlemens gotta pay for a lovely lady. It's the right thing to do."

he laughed as she got flustered and started to panic as he kissed her forehead. He noticed that she was hiding her face as he was enjoying the site. He stopped eventually and wiped a tear from his eye from laughing so hard.

"Oh you made my night Yaly. That was... Genius.."

He put the case on the ground and took off his cloak that was now almost useless to him from the hit he sustained which had healed up on it's own.

He loved being half Demon. With a smile he tried to move her wings from her face if that was successful he would kiss her lips lightly to mainly be an ass to see if that would take her by surprised and to see what she would do to react.

He smiled as he moved back slightly and looked around. No one around. Everyone was probably asleep. That was good. I mean if no one could hear that explosion then everyone must be deep sleepers as it was.

"Why do you carry a gun and sword around anyways?" She spoke, becoming less flustered, she let him move her wings away from him, but suddenly spluttered and seemed to puff up when he kissed her again, stamping her taloned feet and flapping her wings to kick up a cloud of dust.

"C-Cut that out! You're gunna give a girl the wrong idea!"

She stamped her taloned feet again and scratched at the ground, ripping up grass as she fussed and hid her brightly blushing face in her wings, preening slightly. He was making a mockery of her but she couldn't bring herself to attack him again. Needless to say he was doing a good job of distracting her from that creeping discomfort associated with her harpy form, though.

"Can't we just get the payment over with here and now?"

Her flustered demeanour had cost her both her sarcastic edge and a fair bit of tact. Yalya spread her wings again, not too wide but wide enough to show her form held with her hips slanted slightly, a seductive bend in her more developed and curvy harpy form. She couldn't hide her rather messy and rustled hair and feathers, or her almost awkward blush on her face. When was the last time she actually blushed?!

[VALUS]

Valus heard her first question and answered.

"The sword is a part of me, so to speak. And the gun is a memento. Plus, as of late teachers need all the fire power they can muster. I also do have them around just in case something ends up hitting the fan and I need more of an Edge in combat."

Since he can knock people back with his gun he can move forward with little to no problems then strike with his blade when close enough. She hasn't felt his Sting yet and maybe she won't.

Giving the girl the wrong Idea? The. Wrong. Idea? How many times has Valus heard that in his life?

Too many if he forgot but still. The spoken words were weird for him as it was, he was trying to be nice to her to show her everything was alright but she didn't have any of it.

But he got her to blush..

"You know your cute when you blush. And why so pushy?"

He said with a smile on his face as he removed his shirt and looked at the whole thing. He realized that there was dried blood on it and he tossed it into the guitar case as he sighed. He wasn't going to get through this way so he tried to play soft ball.

"Why are you so rushed to do so?"

Yalya huffed again, still blushing and flustered as she watched her teacher take off his shirt after kissing her. Was he teasing her on purpose? He had to be as she blushed more than ever and clawed up even more grass at his sudden compliment. "c-cute?!" She didn't do cute, at least she didn't do it unintentionally like she apparently was here!

"I was just..." Why was she so rushed? Mainly it was because she was used to some very different treatment, quite used to guys who knew what they were doing (unlike almost everyone in this school) and didn't need someone to be pushy or take charge... "...Well you were making it seem like you wanted to, but that you got cold feet!" She went on the defensive, trying to regain some of that abrasive confidence she had before all this started, stamping her taloned foot and dragging it through the grass but not taking her eyes off Valus's now-topless form.

And she certainly wasn't going to stop blushing any time soon...

Valus chuckled a bit at her answer. She wasn't used to this.

"Lemme guess, you were used to people getting what they want no matter the situation. You don't like taking charge and telling people what you think."

He said with an almost intimidating smile on his face, his voice went from his normal sarcastic tone to a more serious tone as he was looking down his nose to get to the main problem.

"Being forced to do what you don't want, not wanting to speak out against your peers, your... 'ways to get what you want'. Your mind cannot comprehend someone being nice. Someone caring, so your mind thinks it is a trick."

His smiled changed as he started to take foot steps forward and grabbed her wing and gently laid her on the ground and smiled. He decided to play her game until she let him in to find out what was wrong.

His eyes looked into hers to see how many strings he had pulled as he laughed a bit at her.

Valus was doing everything he could as a teacher, breaking rules and busting his own rules to do so. Yaly would make a great fighter, if she could let things go..

Valus needed to push her..

Her Next lesson...

"No, It's just... I'm used to more... assertive men." She spoke then suddenly blinked, looking flustered as he took her wing and moved her onto the ground. That's more like it but he was still moving too slow, what was he DOING?

"Guys who take what they want with a bit more confidence and less shy playing around." She blinked at him a bit, surprised. "What are you doing? Finally getting down to business?" She smirked a bit but was still blushing and still very clearly flustered, watching him mainly with surprise but letting him lead.

He was an asshole, his methods were strange and often dangerous, he never fully explained himself and he had just taken up tormenting her in a way that she didn't even think possible...

Why did he have to be her favourite teacher?

[VALUS]

Yeah, he was getting down to business.

"yeah, well.. Someones got to."

He said with a smile on his face while he gently kissed her neck while rubbing her side while he started to talk.

"you have great prowess, but you need to let go of things."

He laughed a bit while he was going to try to figure out what made her tick. Why she was still here after he started all that to try to get her to break or to freak out. She was flustered. She wasn't used to a man who would care and help as much as he could, she needed an assertive man. Valus was a more passive person than he reputation can tell. No one knew about Valus's upbringings or what he endured for the most part, and that was his main down fall. He wasn't even open with it.

"What can we say, playing around is fun. gives everyone a chance to have a good time."

He said with a chuckle.

[SEKTO]

"About time..."

She hadn't done this in her harpy form since.... no, best not to think about it, right now she was doing what she does best, just remarkably poorly all of a sudden because of just how much Valus had teased her.

"ahh, there you go..."

She shivered as he kissed her neck, not feeling the usual gung-ho rush she usually did, not feeling the primal arousal but still feeling massively flustered but like she didn't want him to stop, one of her wings wrapping around him as her taloned feet dug into the soil.

"Great Prowess you say? I can't use my powers... and what do I need to let go of?"

Then he seemed to stop, talking about playing around.

"So you're just being a rotten tease again?"

She huffed at him, still blushing cutely.
