NICKNAMES: Argy
AGE: Eighteen
GENDER: Female
RACE: Chimera
CLASS: C
PLAY BY: Kagiyama Hina[/ul]
I SWEAR TOGETHER WE'VE BEEN
here before but we never looked away
here before but we never looked away
HAIR: Greener than grass.
SKIN: Pale.
BODY: Small and compact, great for running.
UNUSUAL: Argyle has small horns that sit atop her head on on either side, like the horns on a deer. They are smaller than the horn on a deer, though they have grown since she was born. She like to hang things from them, almost like decorating them. The other attribute from her chimera form is that of a peacock, and with this she carries the feathers of a peacock in her hair. They are randomly placed throughout her long hair. She likes to sift through her hair and find them when she is bored. Sometimes she has the misfortune of getting her antlers stuck on things, such as doors and hanging things. When this happens she turns a bright red and begins to studder as she haplessly tires to yank herself free. This ends up in her causing herself pain most of the time.
OTHER FORM: Argyle's chimera form is that of a deer with antlers the same size as her own. The deer's eyes are as green as her own and the fur of the deer is brown, though the spots have the circular design that her peacock feathers have. When in this form she is more like a deer than a peacock, her peacock attributes really only having to do with the look, she acts like a deer and generally looks like one.
APPEARANCE: Argyle is a small girl, though not tiny. She is just the right size for a good runner, and her body reflects that, though mostly because she likes to run. The girl keeps herself in check, making sure to run at least once a day, even if for a few minutes at a time. She weighs in about 125, and the girls only stands at about 5'4 making her of average height and weight. The girls face could be said to have a soft look, if she weren't always scowling at someone's stupid words or screaming at someone in anger. The girl is very open with herexpressions, letting each and every one of them play out on her face like a movie. Her lips and her nose are small, following the pattern of her body, though her eyes are wide and full of vibrant expression. These eyes are usually covered by classes that are always slipping over her small nose to fall down her face.
The girl's clothing consists of a green blouse that is trimmed in gold and white. At her neck it is tied in a large red bow, like the one that sits atop her head. The blouse ens at her waist in two tails, and following under it is her red, black and white plaid skirt. Her skirt goes about to the middle of her thighs and is trimmed with white ruffles. On her legs she wears white stockings, which she will often hide her tarot cards in. On her feet the girls wears a pair of simple black flats, which she often just removes along with her stockings when she wishes to run. Atop her green hair and her antlers the girl wears a very large white and red bow, whose tails fall around her and sway as she walks.

TWO SEATS INSIDE AN EMPTY ROOM
with one more night what’s left to lose
with one more night what’s left to lose
Candy, of any sort of any flavor except banana.
Running, as a deer and a girl.
Mouthing off to people who deserve it.
Kittens, the tiny ones that meow like a car alarm.
Keys, when they are on a ring and jingle when you bang them together.
Birds, she wants to fly.
DISLIKES:
Idiots, self explanatory.
Guns, she is a deer.
Rainy days, no running unless she wants to get caught on something and die.
When she gets stuck on something and has to beg people to help her off.
When those people look at her like she's stupid and then walk off.
STRENGTHS:
Running, seriously, this girl runs fast.
Control over fire.
Increased Strength
Increased Senses
WEAKNESSES:
Ice, or anything very cold.
If her legs are injured in anyway the girl would be unable to defend herself in either form.
Her big mouth is going to get her hit one day.
SECRETS: Under her mouth is a girl who is afraid of rejection.
She loves roses, but will not tell anyone because roses are over done and old. They have to be red.
OVERALL: Argyle is a very open person who will try to be friends with anyone unless they break her own moral code. Which is simple really, but not worth explaining. The girl will never outright tell a person she is mad at them, or even if she is enraged at them, she will first try and kill them with kindness until she can't take it anymore. Only when they begin to realize they have done something wrong will she begin to show the other side of herself. She will rip them to shreds where they stand. Other than that the girl is quite and shy, not prone to speak unless provoked or spoken to first. In a fight the girl will do whatever she has to to defend herself or others, even fight dirty if it gets her anyway. In a fight she has no honor, but she is small and sees it as a fair trade. Another thing Argyle does is read tarot cards. It is a hobby she finds fascinating, though sometimes the person she is reading for does not.
Romantically Argyle has never had much experience. Other than a small crush when she was a kid she has never really though about guys in a marriage or even relationship way. Of course she looks at them, most girls do. She also does not discriminate against another sexual preference. As open is she with her expression she is as open with her understanding. Not to say she wouldn't show interest in someone, just to say she as of yet has not.
Anger is an issue that Argyle suffers with intensely. She will get very angry, very quickly, and when this happens she is likely to shut down and remove herself from the situation and the emotion completely. She fears she might suffer from a bi-polar disorder but is too afraid of confirming it to go see a doctor. [/ul]
WE LAY WITH NOT A WORD TO SAY
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
FATHER: Gray Delacroix, 45.
SIBLINGS: Only child.
OTHER PEOPLE: Never.
HISTORY:
She was named after a pattern... Something that repeated.
Argyle led a slightly normal life, in a secluded village away from regular civilization. This village was comprised of chimeras like herself, and her parents. When she was born the girl had stubs for horns, though they began to grow quite quickly when she turned three. The feathers began to come when she was four, being small and growing larger with the child. She was loved unconditionally by her parents and those of the village, being that they were a small village and she was the first girl in ten months to be born. She wasn't shunned or picked on like other kids her age, honestly she had a normal upbringing, though everything went a little sour when the girl turned eleven. Small villages force marriages, it's easiest way to make sure the village continues forward. So at eleven the chimera child was engaged to a boy she'd only seen a few times. A nice boy, though quiet. He kept to himself, even after the announcement had been made. Their engagement was celebrated, though not between them. They laughed about it, and played by the creek like children should... though they grew closer. Argyle saw it as them becoming the best of friends, while Ian saw it as romance. Of course she had a crush on him... but it was childish and nothing that she would have acted on at that age. She was still growing up...
So she pushed him away slowly, her moods becoming angry and downtrodden. She wanted to go back to the time when they were friends, when they weren't expected to get married and have kids at such a young age, Yeah... they only lived sixty years, but the girl saw herself having kids at thirty, maybe, after she had had time to live and get to know herself before she had to get to know someone else. She told her concerns to her mother and father, and though her father understood her mother didn't. Her mother thought the system of the village made sense, and though it did Argyle didn't want to be a part of it. So for two years she avoided him, and for a year after that she refused to leave the house if she knew he was around. Her horns grew longer and the emotions inside the girl raged beyond her comprehension.
Not to mention the girl was learning how to control her shifts, and dealing with the fact that she had a whole being inside of her that she could change into a dear whenever she pleased, and sometimes when she didn't. It was all so confusing to the girl and one day she snapped. She screamed at her parents and ran, running past the village line, past the creek to a small cave that she liked to hide in to gather her thoughts. She returned home after two days, to worried parents and upset friends.
Her father pulled her aside one day, tugged on her now long antlers and said to her, "Life is about love, but you can't force it, just so happens I love your mother will all my heart, but no one can make you love Ian. So go to this place, that I've heard of, and live your life, but make sure you go here. The world isn't as accepting as we are honey." So her father gave her a train ticket and sent her on her way. She was looked down upon as she boarded the train, and she had gotten such rude looks when she sat down. She kept to herself, flipping through the tarot cards her mother had been teaching her how to read. It was a hobby the girl took pride in, and she flipped through the cards nervously as she sat alone at the back of the train. It made many stops, here and there, everywhere, but the girl just sat there, watching the land go by as if it was faster than she, and she knew it was for the girl could not run as fast as the train, though she wished she could.
Argyle arrived at the school, shaken from the words the lady on the train had said to her. "What are those on your head? Are you one of those freaks!?" She had seemed so upset by Argyle's presence that the girl had back off the bus in fear, almost tripping as she did so. She just stared at the woman wide eyed and in fear as she kept backing up until the train was out of sight. Bumping into the older male had been a godsend. He;d seen her fear and asked Argyle where she was going. The academy, she'd answered and he looked at her horns and smiled. He'd taken her there, that nice man that she'd never seen again, and helped her all the way to the main office before saying he had to leave. She'd gotten enrolled and went to look for him, though he was gone. A part of her was sad though the other part was thankful.

RP SAMPLE:
She wasn't stuck... nope. Not again. Argyle sighed and jerked her head to the left again, wincing as she did so. A cry of pain and frustration left her lips as she did and she slumped a bit, defeated. Her green hair was out of her bow, now tangled in her antlers and drooped over her face rather annoyingly. There was nothing she could do, she was stuck until someone took mercy on her. Which to be honest didn't usually happen till at least an hour or two after she had gotten stuck. To be honest she wasn't surprised. The school was broken into classes, and she wasn't in a very high ranking class, actually she was in a pretty low ranking class. Class C, chimera. She was basically leered at by anyone above her, most of the time. Some of the other students were nice, and got a smile from her, but some of them incurred her wrath quite easily. Argyle tugged her antlers again, giving pleading looks to those who walked past her. "Oh come on." She muttered under her breath as she blew air up to hopefully remove the hair that had fallen down in her eyes. "Crap." It failed. Again the pleading started. "Seriously, take like... five seconds and get my figgin antler out from this. Honest... it won't take long." Her words trailed off as yet another person walked past her, this one snickering.
People here were nice on occasion, depending mostly on the class the person was in... She'd met only a few people, being as she hated talking to anyone above her in a class unless they talked to her first and she decided they weren't going to be a total dick to her. It just wasn't her personality to run up to someone and grab them. Though it might be an easier way to start a conversation. "HEY THE WORLD WILL END IF YOU DON'T TALK TO ME!" She opted to try that soon, and nodded, wincing as the pain hit her again. She wiggled her body forward and angled her head, hoping that would put her in a position to unhitch her antler from the door jamb. It didn't. Now she was quite awkwardly positioned and in pain. Great, now I'm in pain and I look even moreeee like an idiot. Argyle sighed and even reached her hand out to grab at someone, desperate for attention and help.
Please... I don't bite... I just want help
Argyle slumped down as far as possible without her antlers getting pulled. She wasn't sure how'd she even gotten into this mess, she was just walking out of the room and then next thing she knew she was getting jerked back and then she was stuck. It was a bad situation that she was in and the girl could admit that willingly. For now though she was at anyone's mercy. She'd probably agree to anything someone asked of her if only they'd get her out of the friggin door. It wasn't like she was asking much, not really, but some people here looked down on her race and they made it very clear that they were better than she was. And so she would rot in the door jamb until someone took pity on her.
With a smile the girl sighed yet again, she would have shook her head, if not for... well you know. Argyle didn't mind, she was unused to being looked down upon but she could adapt faster than most people, and of course she would eventually learn to grit and bear the disapproval of her breathing by higher class students. In the meantime the girl ran off her frustration and attended class like a normal student, though most normal students didn't have antlers that grew out of their heads.
