GENDER: Female
RACE: Gargoyle

I SWEAR TOGETHER WE'VE BEEN
here before but we never looked away
here before but we never looked away
HAIR: Seemingly spiky and red, only long, to her rear end. she keeps most of it contained with numerous bobby pin that seem to be strewn throughout her hair with no rhyme nor reason.
SKIN: Pale, almost translucent
BODY: VERY small and lithe, it would seem as if she would break at the smallest of touches.
UNUSUAL: ---
OTHER FORM: Piper's form is by far cuter than most gargoyles, but despite this it is still not attractive. It is small, just as she, and frail, at least seemingly so. Her skin in human and in this form is just as hard as any other gargoyle skin, making her a tough adversary. It almost has a cat-like face, having rock-hard whiskers and small, slanted eyes. Other than that the body of her original form is small, in the least descriptive words possible. It is very spiky, just as her hair, and seems to have a red tint towards the end. Completing her form is three tails that are equally as spiky as the rest of her. The end spikes increase in length, making each of her tails appear very mace-like.
APPEARANCE: Piper has long, sporadic hair that never seems tamed, just as she. It has been tried by herself to tame it with random bobby-pins and succeeded to an extent although it still seems to stick up every which way. Underneath her insane hair is a pleasant face, pale with the smallest hint of red. Her eyes are red also, and her nose is small and narrow. Under these features are a pair of small red lips.
Piper normally wears things for comfort, such as a loose fitting skirt with an equally loose fitting sweat shirt or tee. She always dresses for warmth, even though she doesn't need to. It's not that she feels like she should cover most of her body, but because she feels more comfortable this way.

OVERALL: Piper is, well, Piper. She is ever-loving of all things, even dogs to an extent. Her outlook on life is that she, having been born a gargoyle, must live her life to the fullest extent of which she can. Unlike so many other supernatural beings she only has 39 more years to live. She treats her powers more as a curse to bear than any sort of gift.
Knowing this, Piper does not like to turn into her Gargoyle form and only has done so for her now dead parents. She refuses to do it in the presence of any other person, having to do with growing up in the state's system of Denver, explaining to each of her caretakers that she is not eleven, she is actually fifteen, to explain her advanced appearance.
Piper has an in-your-face way of caring for people she loves and easily attaches to anyone, this is mainly because she feels as though she has such a short time to love others that she must bring forth any emotion she feels for someone right as she feels it. This makes her come across as random and overbearing. Anyone that gets to know Piper knows she means well and that she is eager to help anyone she can in anyway she can.
Piper has yet to meet another Gargoyle. This fact has confused her thoroughly throughout her short life. She often wonders if someone like her could possibly posses a soul or a heart.
Piper is scared of a lot of things. Loud noises, her shadow; etc. She will often times put on a show of bravado, but she is mostly bark and easily frightened. [/ul]
WE LAY WITH NOT A WORD TO SAY
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
FATHER: Daniel, Deceased at age 51.
SIBLINGS: ---
OTHER PEOPLE: ---
HISTORY: Piper was born into an old Gargoyle family that had been poached out for the most part except for her parents. They loved her very, very much, however she was quite the surprise to the couple. They had not wanted to bring any child into such a prejudice world, which was why when Teresa gave birth to a baby gargoyle at the age 42, the couple mourned.
They knew that having such a child at their age would condemn it to live with the humans. The very humans they abhorred. Daniel wanted to destroy the child. Thinking that she would do better dead in hateful world than alive. He stood, babe in hand, hovering over the icy water that would kill such a small gargoyle almost instantly. Painlessly. But, he saw her smile at him. Her whiskers twitching and her small, grey mouth curling into a cat-like grin.
He could not do it.
The couple raised Piper as a human child for as long as they could. Caring for her and explaining to her that she was to never, ever turn herself into a Gargoyle and showing her how to keep her human form. It was this upbringing that forced Piper to believe that what she was was an abomination, despite her mother's soft words.
After a few, short, happy years, Piper's parents died. She was told it would happen soon by her father and watched them disintegrate before her own eyes, turning into dust. She remembered how they told her to go to the health department near their home and wandered there. It had been the cold that made her so weak. She wondered why her parents had chosen such a desolate, cold place to live when there were much warmer places in the U.S. She figured perhaps it was because the Gargoyle Poachers would not think that they would choose to live here.
The city accepted her and from here she went from house to house, living with "guardians" instead of parents. When the school opened up she could not help but to want to go there. she longed to feel as though she belonged somewhere which was why she told her last guardian what she really was. It had been a risk, she knew it.
Thankfully Georgette, her guardian at the time, had been a supporter of these new, supernatural races. Piper remembered suppressing laughter at the word "new".
Finally, Piper was in a more welcoming place where she could be herself, be the Gargoyle that she was always meant to be. But...Did she want to be?[/ul]
WITH FACES PRESSED AGAINST THE
wall lets show the world what we are about
wall lets show the world what we are about
RP SAMPLE: Trains.
They always scared her. But then again, what didn't scare her? Her own shadow scared her, at least, she had been to scared to look at it in fear that it might take the form of the monster she had dwelling within herself. The morning had just peaked over the mountain she was heading towards at a pace that did not make her feel all to comfortable. At least the ice was starting to melt, being near April and Spring forcing the trees to turn from dull browns to bright greens again. The weather was warming up and Piper could feel it within herself and because of this she almost hated it. Almost.
The only thing holding her back was her absolute love of warm weather.
She could feel the girl across from her eyeing her suspiciously, probably concerned if she were a suicide bomber with the amount of clothes she had on. Piper mumbled through an orange scarf that she was a gargoyle and the girl gave her a confused look as if that mattered and forced her eyes onto the window next to them.
Piper looked at her face for a few moments longer before realizing she had been staring and looked towards the entrance to the small room they were seated into. Piper hated being indoors. It made her feel caged, claustrophobic one of her guardians had called it. They even forced her to eat strange round pebbles that made her throw up blood. The crazy woman had called it medicine but perhaps because she was a gargoyle she shouldn't take this stuff called medicine.
Piper never ate anything, actually. Her mother had told her it was not necessary for her to, and that was it. However some things she might be able to stomach for appearance sake. The only thing she had ever eaten and absolutely loved was pineapples and that was only once.
Something screeched and Piper had figured it to be the train as they seemed to be pulling into some sort of station. Outside she could see a large banner beating in the wind that read:
WELCOME NEW STUDENTS
Piper liked it. She thought it was adorable.
It really put a smile on her face and sent her waving out the window like an insane person. The girl beside her coughed as to remind her that there was someone else in the room. But at this point, Piper did not care. [/ul]
