NICKNAMES: Dev, Devil, Red
AGE: seventeen
GENDER: male
RACE: Naga
CLASS: B class
PLAY BY: Axel[/ul]
I SWEAR TOGETHER WE'VE BEEN
here before but we never looked away
here before but we never looked away
HAIR: Red
SKIN: Pale
BODY: Slim, Athletic
UNUSUAL: Forked tongue, dice tattoo on left shoulder blade, dragon curling from his lower back over his hip, upside down tears on each cheek.
OTHER FORM: While Devon’s upper half generally remains the same, there are noticeable changes. His eyes go slightly golden, becoming more serpentine, while fangs become prominent. His torso transitions into a pale brown bottom half at the waist.
APPEARANCE: Devon looks like your typical rebellious teen. He is slim with lean muscle, kept in shape by an almost daily run. His spiky red hair offsets brilliant green eyes. He has long limbs, giving him an almost gangly look. He has long fingers which would be perfect for playing piano if he ever took the time to learn. He has talented hands musically which was never realized as he barely took up and instrument. He moves with a certain grace, nearly boneless in many of his actions. This is a good part due to the fact that he is a Naga, tapping into the serpentine flow of his other form.
His style varies on his mood. He can have a button up shirt and top hat style one day then go to full out punk the next. He has been known to wear an occasional hat now and then. Those, like his clothes, range in style. The only thing that seems consistent is his boots, a pair that have certainly seen better days.

SECRETS: Devon has made some bad deals in the past; deals that he’s still running from.
OVERALL: Devon seems to have very few sides. He is generally a cool, collected con-artist. He is clever and manipulative. He seems like quite the joker and rarely shows a straight face. Most people consider him to be nothing more than a class clown. He finds this makes people less worried about engaging in deals and games with him. He plays pranks, makes jokes, and causes mild trouble for the most part. He knows that he can get into plenty of trouble with his true intentions already.
Regardless of his playful exterior, he has a mind behind those laughing eyes. He’s always learning, calculating, and observing those around him, trying to find the weakest links and who to make the best deals with. He does his best to actually maintain good grades, truly studying so that he can find more ways to best others. The more knowledge he has, the better his own chances are. He will do much to try and outwit others purely on the power of his own mind and people reading skills. He is hardly above cheating, though. He has been known to suddenly add stipulations, rules, or add a whole new part to one of his games just so he could win. This has caused him issues in the past. Sadly, he could not avoid all shows of brute strength.
Despite his weaker physical prowess, Devon can be provoked into anger rather easily causing him to become quite irrational. If he‘s in danger of losing his own game, outwitted, or otherwise compromised as an expert con artist, then just call him Bruce Banner. He‘s not someone you want to be around when he gets into one of his tempers. He'll verbally threaten much. If he thinks that his opponent was his equal or lesser in strength, he would try to get a few hits in then bite them so he could make his escape. With those that are clearly his better in physical stature, he’ll usually just end up running away with some snide comment if physically confronted, but he’s still someone few willingly mess with. WE LAY WITH NOT A WORD TO SAY
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
alone we’ll wait ‘til something’s wrong
FATHER: David, 45
SIBLINGS: Dalia, 15
OTHER PEOPLE: None
HISTORY: Devon was the first born to David and Dana Felps. They were quite pleased to have a child. David was particularly pleased that it was a boy and did that stereotypical dad thing. His boy was going to be big, strong, do sports. Dalia was born two years later, making David think that this was all the more reason for Devon to be the strong man that his father was.
When Devon was ten, David tried teaching him football, baseball, basketball, and other contact sports. They quickly found that Devon seemed to be too easily injured. Devon started to take up track once school started offering it, simply to appease his father‘s competitive drive. It happened that being a Naga made him exceptional at the sport and it was a plus that he simply liked to run.
Devon didn‘t want to make his father entirely proud though. He was angry that David had tried so long to get him to become your typical jock. He also didn‘t like the way Dalia was treated, simply being a weak, helpless girl. He took out his frustration at his parents by gaining a reputation. He was your everyday rebel with a twist. He actually did well in school, getting good grades. He used his knowledge to make deals, take and make bets with other students. He always found a way to come out on top.
That soon became boring and below his abilities. He would stay out late, hanging out with the “bad crowd“. Some of them were worse than even Devon thought. At fifteen he made a deal with an older kid. It turned out to be one he couldn‘t deliver on, a game he couldn‘t win. This actually led to two more bad deals.
His issues became a problem that bled into school, causing bigger problems there as well. He finally went to his parents, insisting that he needed to be transferred into a new school.[/ul]
WITH FACES PRESSED AGAINST THE
wall lets show the world what we are about
wall lets show the world what we are about
RP SAMPLE:
Okay, so they were a little smarter than he anticipated. They were jocks. They were the serious sports type. They knew all the statistics of the leading major football teams but couldn‘t even get a C in math. How was he supposed to know they might actually be able to play his games? Devon bit the inside of his cheek, thinking furiously. Things he knew; he would get his ass royally kicked if he couldn‘t deliver those tickets to … whatever event they wanted. He wouldn‘t get Joe College‘s flat screen.[/ul]
That just couldn‘t be allowed. It was plasma, 55 inch and anyone with good sense in televisions would promise a lot to get a shot at winning it. Unfortunately, he had and he wasn‘t sure how he was going to get out of this. Thankfully, he had bargained that there be no shows of strength. He hadn‘t bargained out of shows of speed though. Since it seemed the jock had half a mind, he would have to changes the rules a bit.
Now that this part is over, The red head said, waving a hand uncaringly before him. We can get to the real challenge. He stood, clinking lightly as the chains hanging off him jangled with his movement. The brunette jock frowned, perplexed as to how he hadn‘t won yet. Real challenge? This was supposed to be the challenge, He snapped, getting to his feet as well. The block of a guy scowled, getting his game face on. His friends at his back were ready to jump into the seemingly imminent fight.
Devon raised a brow, green eyes glancing over all the large forms before him. Oh, this could end very badly for him. He made a derisive sound. Yes, because a few questions is so difficult, He sneered. I‘ll race you around the school, field and all. First one back wins. At least this he knew he could win. Devon had been running half his life, competitively even. Plus the fact that he had naturally enhanced speed would guarantee him a win. There, problem fixed. Most likely.
