Surveying her surroundings, Sarah strode towards the nearest tree. A warm breeze carried a sweet aroma, slightly swaying the long, green grass. Butterflies danced to the birds' tune, along with the chirping of crickets. Sarah felt as if she were in heaven.
"If only this wasn't a sch-"She was cut off when she crashed face-first into the destined tree. Pain surged through her whole body, coming right back up to her head. Moaning, Sarah placed herself below the tree.
As embarrassment swept over her, she pulled out her iPod. The girl began listening to the first thing that came on.Soon, Sarah began feeling sleepy, and decided to head back inside. Although, just before she took off, Sarah couldn't get up. She observed around her, making sure nothing was preventing her from standing up. It was then, that she noticed that her ankle was unraveling.
Like lighting, Sarah yanked out her thread and needle, and began stitching up the body part. Luckily, Sarah was fairly good at sewing, so she had the task complete in an instant.
I hate being a Ragdoll. I always fall apart at the worst of times. Sarah complained to herself.

A deep breath through his nose filled his nostrils with intense an intense and powerful aroma. The sweet smell of the world around him. The oxygen from the trees, the scent of fresh pine with the tree bark and sap. The oder of perspiration from the students in the distance as the walked or ran to there classes. The pollen in the air from the surrounded flower bed, the rather over bearing smell of someone's dog going about it's business of waste disposal in the distance. Yet the rather nice whiff of fragrance from the mans 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner was lightly trickling on the tip of his nose.
The man who leaned on the branches on the top of the tree was none other then Arashi Barnet. One of the few Human's who was privileged enough to have found and registered in the school after his long struggle the find a community he could call his own. Yet to call himself a...Normal human would be a lie.
It was his gift, he had the natural ability to sense the world with all his five senses in a far more advanced way. Sitting on top of a beautiful tree that over looked the large field outside that was surrounded by the school he could see in perfect detail what was going on inside of the windows, even with the glare of the sun brightly gleaming off there reflective surfaces. He could hear the footsteps of people that were on the cement path about 30 yards away. The feeling of the branch that he leaned against on his back was much more intense then just simply feeling the pressure of something he was putting his weight against. Instead, he felt each individual piece of bark that stuck out, big and small, the small amount of tree sap that slowly flowed inside.
Everything that he saw, heard, felt, touched and tasted was far more enhanced and intense, yet not overwhelming. It was simply more information, information that his brain could understand and process normally.
As he himself relax and settle on the branch, he heard the incoming footsteps of someone, he didn't much of it at first. However...He did not hear a heartbeat from this person, nor did he hear this person taking in breath with there lungs. Being a new student, Arashi knew of the many different races here, yet he had not met very many of the people here.
He heard a woman's voice, yet as he did he turned his head as the sound from behind him. When he turned though he suddenly felt a rumble of the tree followed by the sudden stop of the woman's speech. Arashi sat up and looked down to see if the woman was alright. She was talking to herself just recently, yet that was now taken over by the sound...A needle piercing thread?
Confused he got up on his feet and planted them on the branch below him, then he grabbed another with his hand and began to climb down.
"Are you alright?" He asked the woman who must have hit the tree as he climbed down, feeling a little concerned by the rather strange combination of sounds.
Once he was at the stopping point of the branches he jumped down, hitting the soft grass with his feet. Once down he turned to face the woman who fell. Yet he did not detect a needle or thread anywhere. However her comment of her being a...Ragdoll, made him curious. He was still new to all this, and did not know much about other races. Yet he did not want to be rude and straight up ask her to clarify what she meant.
"You hit the tree didn't you? You gonna be okay?" he asked again as he walked up to her.
His enhanced eye's looked closely at her, she didn't look much like anything different then a human, however he did not see skin cells on her, but what looked like well sewn thread, tailored to almost perfectly match human skin. However he did not want to ask questions too soon, he simply wanted to make sure she was alright first.

Stunned, Sarah faced Arashi. His sudden appearance shocked the ragdoll girl. Placing her hand on her chest, she grinned slightly at the stranger.
"Oh, hello. I didn't see you there." Sarah spoke smoothly. She got on her feet, holding her hands behind her back. She smiled again, hoping the boy hadn't sen anything.
"And yes, I'm alright." Sarah lied, a little late to answer his previous question. Still, Sarah tried her best to act normal. Although, usually she would be ragging on the boy for getting in her business. Yet he gave off a different vibe, one that wasn't like everyone else's. This stranger sort of reminded her of Valus.
