Thunder roared overhead as lightning lanced forth to strike the ground. The heavens opened with a torrential downpour, and amidst the ancient trees a single figure moved. Leon Belmont, last of the line of the legendary Belmont Clan of hunters, the first human at Akashibai Academy, strode alone. His dark brown hair was almost plastered to his head, brilliant emerald eyes peering out into the darkness as he walked alone. He was dressed in standard attire, and for any watching, it would almost seem like he appeared from the darkness as if formed from it. His boots were heavy black leather that helped him keep his traction no matter where he was, and his pants were black, with three leather bands around his upper right thigh that held an assortment of items he might need, contained carefully in water proof pouches. He wear a leather jacket with a feathered collar, black as well, and his hands were clad in wrist length black leather gloves.
He moves silently through the forest, as much there as he was in his memories, in that long ago day and faraway forest where his road truly began. His white shirt clung tightly to his muscled frame, the silver pendant of a lions head open in a roar of defiance bouncing against his chest. Around his waist were twin leather belts creating an X form, and on his right hip rode his heirloom whip, the Vampire Killer, on his left he bore his silver gunblade Lionheart, a gift from the vampire that had taken him in. Normally he'd fore go his weapons while at the school, but he thought they might be needed on an occasion like this. There was enough discontent about a human attending the school, and whenever he was away from the staff's area of influence, he was ready for an attack.
Lost in memory, he emerged into a clearing, staring up into the sky as the rain hammered against his skin, his hand reaching up to idly trace across the massive scar on his face. Beginning above his left eye and descending to end beneath his right, it was a relic and final parting gift from his father he'd slain on a night like this. His eyes suddenly focused on a figure across the clearing, noting instantly that he wasn't as alone as he thought. His hands drop to rest against his weapons and his voice rang out across the clearing. "Who's there?" he demanded, not quite emerging fully from the tree line, not wanting to give anyone a clear view of him. That was a rookie mistake, and though he was sometimes more than a little brash and reckless, nights like this made him smarter, reminded him of the price of weakness and what a mistake could cost him.

"Shhhh..." The wind kicked up, lifting her skirt slightly and moving it to the left, then back to the right. Rain streamed down her face and made her top cling to her body, hair so damp the powerful gusts couldn't move it. Her eyes were focused on the sky, face illuminated as the rain streamed down it and the thunder boomed, Yalya turned to face him, her voice remarkably calm and pleasant. "I was listening to the storm." She stopped after that, looking surprised. It wasn't Lexy but it was the new human student. Yaly blinked a few times. He was ready for a full on war. "nice set." It was all she could think of to say. Here one was, a real live human. She'd never seen such a thing before. This wasn't some nasty beasty in disguise, this was the honest thing. Se walked towards him a few steps. "I'm Yalya, call me Yaly, please." She was surprised at how polite she was being but this was it. An honest human!
She suddenly gestured with a hand, lightning illuminating as the wind kicked up again, actually pulling her wet hair up from her neck. The lightning also illuminated a patch of somewhat dry grass under several low hanging branches. Yaly often used that spot for shade but it made a wonderful shelter against the storm, many trees packed close together making a small nook that the wind and rain couldn't penetrate. "Care to join me somewhere a little less violent?" She started to walk towards there, the wind lifting her skirt beyond decent limits a few times before she swatted it back down, moving towards cover and looking over her shoulders at the human who had burst in to her hiding spot in the woods.

He remained at the edge of the clearing as she spoke, still watching her carefully. It seemed hard to believe that something had encountered him alone didn't want to try and take him out. God knew enough things hated the Belmont clan, and even more just humans in general. He was surprised that she didn't try to tear his throat out. And more than a little disappointed. He could use a good scrap. A small half smile played along his lips as he watched her, certainly attractive, but then any predator would be. And from what he'd seen, the Yajuu were some of the greatest predators out there. He decided he might as well see where the encounter would lead, for a moment more curious than cautious. He'd not really had the chance to speak with another creature outside the vampires of the Valtieri family, so he was interested in learning a bit more about her.
If nothing else and she still tried to tear his throat out, so be it. He was up for a fight, and with all the old hatred and anger burning within him, an outlet for that aggression would do him some good. He moves cautiously across the clearing, eyes alert to any sign of an ambush before moving back under cover, standing just outside her little shelter. Normally he was reluctant to use his power, but why not. It'd be a decent deterrent, the rational part of his brain lobbied. With a moments concentration, the water around him froze, extending her shelter to now include him as well, giving him a reactionary window if he needed it. He stands a few feet from her, leaning against the wall of ice as his emerald eyes dance over her, quickly taking in her appearance. He was thoroughly soaked, and though not as attractive as a woman, many had been pleased by the sight of him. His shirt was practically see through, enough that he might not have bothered wearing it at all, and hugged his muscled frame tightly, and with a moments thought, he created a peg from the ice to hang his jacket before stripping off his wet shirt and slipping back into his jacket, not concerned at all for modesty or the cold.
"Yaly? An interesting name. Mine's Leon." he says crossing him arms in front of his chest. He wasn't concerned that she could see that myriad of scars criss cossing his skin, light though they may be, and he ignored the water dropping from his hair onto his bare skin. Cold wasn't something that affected him, so he paid it no mind. If she was getting a free show, so be it. "I'm surprised Yaly. I figured a Yajuu encountering a lone human would feel it a stroke of good fortune, and would have gone immediately for a kill. Why didn't you? Not the violent, aggressive type?" he asks her, his voice deep and his words measured and precise as he watched her, muscles tensed to react immediately if he had to. His silver necklace rested against his skin, glowing softly in the light coming from the occasional lightning. He waited patiently for her to speak, not concerned in the least about being alone and caught out in the middle of a storm. Woe unto her if she tried to kill him, he was beginning to feel more than a little aggressive on nights like this.

"Not all of us are monsters and vampires." She spoke rather matter of factly but her voice was almost drowned out by the roar of a sudden gust of wind almost bowling her over as she moved into cover, then watched him cover it up with ice, hearing the sound of the water pattering on it. "Wow! Can all humans do that?!" She was amazed, Yaly had often heard that the humans couldn't do anything and often needed protecting but this guy just showed off something she'd never seen before. On top of that she'd heard of Wizards, humans who could control magic and the elements...
She sat on the ground, on a grassy patch as she adjusted her skirt. The sudden seclusion made her drenched clothes cold that made her shiver as the outfit clung to her body, the skirt hiking up a bit though. Perfect. "Liking the school so far? Sounds like you've been having some troubles with the others around here though..." She sounded legitimately concerned for him, and deep down she was. It was more than just interest at something new and trying to make the new student feel comfortable. Why was she trying to make a potential predator out to use her feel comfortable? Something within her wasn't making sense, like someone crossing two wires to see what happened.

He shrugs lightly, watching her carefully. "No, not all humans have a...gift, I believe the head master calls them. We're few and far between." he says, sliding down to sit across from her, stretching one leg out, the other bent to rest his arm on. He carefully laid his gunblade out by his side as he watched her. She seemed not the least bit uncomfortable by the fact that she was showing off her skin. And he wasn't exactly minding it. Truly she was attractive, but that didn't mean it couldn't be taken without a grain of salt. He leans his head back against the ice, eyes glancing out into the storm. The memories welled up within him as he watched the rain hammer down, anger and hatred clear in his eyes for the brief second that lightning flashed, before returning to it's normal neutral mask.
His eyes pan back to her, "Decent enough. Wary of most everything that goes around me. Born, raised and trained as a hunter for one of the most active clans this world has seen, I'm sure most things here will have a grudge to settle for an old family member slain." a smile dances along his lips as he considers the thought, a part of him relishing the chance to test his abilities against the forces the yajuu could bring to bear. "Bring them on I say. Anyone foolish enough to try is going to find out just how powerful a human can be." he says without remorse, the thought of having to take down anyone that attacked him not the least bit disturbing or upsetting. He wouldn't kill them, out of respect for the family that took him in and the head master that allowed him to attend, but that didn't mean he'd play with kid gloves either. "What about you? Seems you've got your own issues, wandering into the middle of a forest on a dark and stormy not. Hardly seems a safe place to wander off on your own." he remarks, his emerald eyes almost glowing in the darkness as he watched her.

"I come and go as I please. Someone can try to stop me if they want but I can't say no to a stormy night in the forest." She was breaking more than a few rules running off to the woods at night, but she honestly didn't care. What were they going to do? Detention? It seemed the school didn't do a good job of enforcing the rules if a human student and the supposedly most notorious harpy in the school had found themselves a calm little nook in a storm... She looked him over again. Damn, she was getting ideas. He didn't seem too bad but his mind seemed made up about Yajuu in general. They were not all bad, she wanted to prove that to him but at the same time he was a guy. Do human boys have the same intent as Yajuu boys?
"So why are you out in the night? Sort of a free spirit who does what he wants as well?" She chuckled a bit, leaning back and noticing him looking. If he was interested then why not? She shifted her legs a bit, both her knees pointing to the left and tucking her feet in. The pose showed off her waist and hip quite well as she leaned back against the tree, her skirt still slightly hiked up. She sighed, relaxing and leaning back. Her shirt still clung to her skin, outlining her bust and frame very well and her hair, normally full of life and volume, now hung in a soaked wreath that held fast to her neck and shoulders. "I understand needing some alone time as well." She tilted her head and looked at him, smiling a bit. "I'm a harpy by the way. I'm not gunna eat you or drink your blood or anything. I'm more a fan of fruits and salads. I only bite when people ask me to."

He shrugs lightly, "Memories, mostly. Stormy nights like this are a...reminder, I guess. From where I came from, and all the lessons I can't let myself forget." he answers, not really sure what else to say. He didn't exactly like dumping his burdens on other people, determined instead to carry them on his own. He had to be strong if he wanted to survive, and that meant not relying on anyone for anything. Lost in thought for a moment, he hadn't noticed her shifting, but the motion caught his eye and dragged his attention back to her. Thunder boomed again as he watched her, noting she was much more attractive than he'd initially thought. No doubt she was doing this on purpose, and it momentarily made him wonder why. More often than not he didn't bother stopping to analyze people, but spending too much time around Lukien had it's affect on him.
He reached up to idly finger his necklace, wondering what she was up to. Looking for a bit of sport perhaps? Trying to have a bit of fun with the first human? Well, it wasn't exactly like she was repulsive, nor he dead. Perhaps this night would be interesting, and indeed offer him an emotional outlet, albeit not in the manner he'd originally assumed. Then again, he could be reading the whole scenario wrong, something that had happened before and he wasn't eager to repeat. That'd certainly be a fine way to start his time at the academy. "Harpy hmm? Can't say I've met one of you before. I must say I'm surprised, I wasn't expecting a harpy to be so beautiful. I'd always heard of them as ugly old withered women kidnapping people on the mountains." he says with a light smile in response to her own. Idly he wondered what her harpy form was then, since clearly this couldn't be it, and wondered if perhaps he was getting more than he bargained for.

"Ugly old withered women? Oh those are the European harpies." Yaly laughed, having heard ghost stories from her people's elders of their cousins, monstrous creatures who lurked in mountains and ate flesh. Yaly was shocked by that, and had heard of harpies across the sea who were foul and evil and harpies to the south with incredible plumes of bright feathers. Her own feathers were jet black, like her father's. Hmm... "If you'd like I could show you... my harpy form." Why did she say that? Woah! Yalya, take a breath. She was shocked and suddenly scared but she didn't show it one bit, her personal defenses hiding everything but this time not hiding it behind an abrasive and caustic cynicism. She still couldn't believe she just offered to change in front of someone she'd just met, considering she still wasn't comfortable changing in front of Lexus, who was like a sister to her.
"You seem to enjoy looking at me now, but if you'd like I can show you that some harpies can certainly be easy on the eyes." She suddenly gave a mischievous grin, eyes narrowing as she sat up a bit, arms crossed under her bust and pushing them up slightly. It was a reaction, unintentional but screaming for his eyes to move to them. Part of her programmed reactions to the attention of men. Was she still offering to change in front of someone she'd just met when she could barely control the emotions it could flood her with? The only thing lighting their encounter was the crash of the thunder but she still could see him quite clearly and could see him enjoying what he was looking at, hopefully she was giving him ideas akin to what raced in her mind.

He laughs softly. "Ah, that would make sense then. I'm from the European mountains, so naturally we had stories of the harpies there that would abduct people." he says with a smile, finding himself enjoying his time with her. Strange, considering he usually disdained the company of others, but for some reason, he was enjoying this immensely, and the implications of where it might lead. He listens to her and a light smile dances across his lips. His green eyes danced in the flash of the lightning, deciding he didn't care what her motivations were. Tonight seemed a night that needed no thought, but rather instinct. Admittedly his instinct was to kill her, but still. There were always other ways to establish dominance. He noted her reaction to her own offer to change for him, and it made him realize it must not be something she did often.
As she shifted again, his eyes were naturally drawn lower, enjoying the show she was giving him. He smiles at her again, "You're not hard on the eyes at all from where I'm sitting." he says with a light grin. "But if your other form is even more attractive, I'd be most interested in seeing it, indeed." he says lightly, watching her movements. She was certainly attractive, and he wondered idly if she was having similar thoughts to those that danced through his head. It had been awhile since anyone had shown an interest in him, and if she was offering a little fun...well, who knew? It seemed like it could be quite enjoyable. "Change then, and let's see if your other form is indeed more attractive than this one." he says with a smile, watching her and letting his eyes wander appreciatively over her frame. It seemed tonight was going to be very enjoyable indeed, if he was any sort of lucky. And it seemed she was more than a little willing.

"Why thank you, you're certainly quite a charmer yourself, and... Well let's just say we've both got a lot to look at." Yaly smiled, she slowly moved her legs, letting them spread slightly and giving a view up her skirt as the thunder crashed loudly, showing her black panties as she moved, getting onto her knees then slowly standing up. She had worn black and purple striped arm socks and thigh highs with heavy boots. She liked how they'd cling to her limbs when it rained. Yaly peeled them off slowly, letting him enjoy watching her move. The arm socks hit the floor first, then she slowly leaned down and started to unbuckle and take off her boots. She turned slowly but intentionally as she did and as she moved to unroll her stockings, letting herself turn a full 180 degrees so that he could enjoy looking at her backside as she took off and dropped her other sock, leaving the wet accessories and her boots in a small pile. She turned back to face him, adjusting her shirt and skirt slightly then running her hands through her hair, pulling it free from her neck. She was flaunting her figure and the less graceful sides of her femininity, turning her preparations into a mock strip show for Leon.
This was it, she took a deep breath, the only show of uncertainty she'd show as she got ready to change. Lowering her disguise and returning to her true often had... negative effects. She's always been flooded with memories of things she wanted to never remember when she changed, and controlling that flood is very, very hard to do. She promised she would and this guy was different from the others... sort of. She felt herself almost smirk, even humans had the same base desires of her. It seemed all men truly were the same. Yaly gave a breath and suddenly felt the shift. "Here I go..." She felt her arms suddenly burst into wings, the feathers emerging and engulfing her body as though the wings had simply appeared wrapped around her. The wet hair suddenly growing out and the moisture of it only in the tips as her hair went from shoulder length to far down her back. Her feet shifted instantly into black talons meant for gripping and perching and her lithe, human legs turned into digitigrade bird's legs, black feathers covering them and filling her with warmth as she spread her wings, the feathers fluttering and kicking up a small cloud of dust, her hair wreathed with feathers as well as she gasped.
"ah..." She took a few sharp breaths, looking as though she'd just been struck by the thunder outside, a bead of sweat formed on her brow, then she smiled, growing quiet. She hadn't had a flashback, she hadn't had an attack! She was fine. Yalya smiled, her body was magnificent, a perfect mix of a black bird and a teenage girl, her bust was a little bigger and her curves a little more defined, her face was unchanged but her eyes cast yellow reflections with deep pupils showing through the darkness. She took a small, slow step towards Leon, spreading her wings as a plume of black tail feathers lifted her skirt slightly as she flexed. "Impressive? Not such a withered monster?"

Leon watched the process with an interest, noting her deep breath beforehand. That suggested it wasn't something she did often, a steadying breath to prepare herself for the shock of it, like a swimmer before diving into the cold water. He quickly took in these little details, never knowing when they might come in handy. The bead of sweat on her brow suggested a strain, so that seemed to hold that changing wasn't something she did often. Given the deep breath, it appeared there were bad memories or experiences associated with that form. As she took a step towards him, his hands reflexively clenched, ready to fight back if she suddenly went berserk on him, which he wouldn't be entirely surprised if she did. He let his eyes wander over her form, noticing appreciatively that certain areas seemed to have filled out more.
"Very pleasing to the eye indeed, now you must merely find someone with a thing for feathers and you might be set." he says with a light grin. Feathers weren't exactly his thing, but she was very pleasing to look at, even in this form. However, he felt the feathers might be somewhat...abrasive, in anything intimate between her and someone else. He pushes himself to his feet, knowing he could react much faster from here if needed, and smiles at her, stepping close to her. "So this is a real harpy hmm?" he says, deciding to take a chance and take a little control over their encounter. His hand reaches up, lightly trailing along her sides as he smiled at her, half hidden in the darkness. "Seems like it might get in the way of anything more...natural." he says with a smile, eyes flashing in the darkness. He smiles again as another hand slowly trails his fingers along her inner thigh, his smile one of mischief, speaking of discarded clothing and care, and of a long night of nothing but passion.

"figured you'd like some of the exotic." Yaly stepped towards him, her wings moving around Leon's body as she grinned, his hands making her shiver. "I assume you'd prefer if I went back to my human disguise? this dress wasn't really designed for harpies after all." She flicked her head to one side, her feathered hair flung over her shoulder and sending some feathers into the air. "Well, let's get a bit more... natural." She grinned, the feathers starting to fall from her body as she started to shift back. Admittedly the change wasn't something massive and impressive, it was far more subtle. Her body shrank a bit, the curves becoming slightly less defined as her longer hair seemed to fall out with the feathers, her hair once again short but the highlights and tips not dyed. The feathers on her legs fell away and seemed to take her harpy legs with it, a pair of lithe human legs now slowly moving and pressing against Leon's hand, the wings vanishing in a flurry of falling feathers and left with a pair of strong but exceptionally toned human girl arms around his neck.
"Please be as natural as you'd like, we've got all night and as long into the day as you'd like to go." She grinned after those words, her hands trailing through his hair as Yaly leaned in, pressing her nose against Leon's and narrowing her eyes, then moving her hands down his shoulders, along his arms, and to his wrists, bringing his hands upwards along her dress and forwards. She felt a rush as she bit her bottom lip, liking Leon and all humans by extension more and more...

Leon smiles at her in the darkness as she presses close, more than a little pleased that she'd taken his invitation for a little fun on such a dark and stormy night. As she changes back, he felt her skin under his hand, sliding slowly up her thigh, the other wrapping around her waist and pulling her close. He slid his hand up her side, sliding it along her chest, squeezing as he pressed against her, pressing his lips to hers. "Mm, just all night and day? I'm thinking maybe through the following evening." he says in a low voice, pressing close to her as he pulled her against his bare chest. He smiles lightly as he pushes her back, pressing her back up against the tree as he kisses her again, pressing his body close. Slowly he shrugged out of his jacket, pressing his bare skin to her, thinking to himself that it was going to be a very enjoyable storm.
When later they woke, the sky remained dark over head, and it was difficult to tell what the time was. The rain still came down steadily, but without the heavy winds or sounds of thunder and flashes of lightning. A light smile played along his lips as his eyes slip shut again, ignoring the terrible weather, thinking all they could do for now was wait out the storm. He wasn't entirely sure about her, but he knew he intended to have a very enjoyable wait. He smiles as he turns to her again, brushing his lips lightly along her skin. "Seems we have some waiting to do..." he whispers softly, moving over her. "Whatever shall we do to pass the time?" he says, knowing full well what he intended. Shortly after, he lost himself as he cast thought aside to give over to desire, caring not at all for the time that passed.
