Classes had ended barely half an hour ago, the students had gone about their business for the day. A few stragglers could be seen here and there taking their time in vacating the halls, but for the most part the energy and hustle of the day had faded away leaving a sense of growing loneliness within the school. The teachers had all quickly departed, heading to the staff room, or their private residences to take a break from the minds they were here to instruct. Those left in the hallway were going about their business chatting and winding down from the schooldays end.
The sun peered through the windows in the hall, beams of sun light shone through and bathed everything within their reach in a warm and gentle lights. Shadows lurked just beyond the warmth of the sun, waiting for their moment to creep forward and over take the entire hall with their wispy and cool clutches. Having past the peak of it's height in the sky and was on it's descent down to the horizon and nights wake, though that was hours away.
One of the students that remained within the confines of the hall way moved effortlessly gliding along with each step on wheels. Rollerblading through the hallway the student weaved in and around people, avoiding obstacles with ease and grace. The roller blader wore a purple sweater, her skirt and stockings dark in their color went well with the sweater. In contrast the brilliant and striking blonde of the girls hair stood out against the darker color tone of her out fit, tied into a pony tail her hair trailed behind her as she moved dropping down just shy of her waist. Her yellow eyes were not looking forward, instead they looked down to her hands which held a portable game system all of her attention focused upon it.
Allison glided along propelling her self forward, moving on instincts Allison avoided the students by turning and twisting around anyone in her way. Headphones in the girls ears allowed her to ignore their curses and protests as she moved on by. Focused on the game as her thumbs mashed the buttons, she turned around and glided backwards not even realizing that she was even doing it. "Come on.." she muttered to no one, not even her own ears heard the words that escaped her soft lips. She was so intent on this game, the thought of getting in trouble for skating in the hallways. The girl was so focused on her game, she was so close on the boss battle that she didn't even think to turn around.
So when without any warning the world shifted and her view became one of the ceiling, either she had hit something, or her wheels had hooked in something. Allison fell backwards as luck would have it just shy from the top of the steps, her game system left her hands and fell towards the ground yanking the headphones from her ears. A curtain of yellow flowed around the falling form, she didn't even have a chance to curse. There was a painful shock as the back of her head hit the floor with a painful crack, Allison let out a gasp of shock as the pain surged like a lightning bolt through her head, only to have another shock as the game system came crashing down upon her forehead with another smack, before it clattered to the ground.
The wheels continued to spin as she lay on the cold hard floor, her head throbbed. Hot sticky red poured from the wound left by the game system, against the pale skin of the girl the crimson fluid only seemed more sinister. Even if the wound started to heal within seconds anyone seeing the scene wouldn't be able to tell that fact, and with no idea what had tripped her it was taking Allison a moment to come to her senses. (I hope this is acceptable I really couldn't come up with much, long day sorry.. I hope this is acceptable)

To live among the supernatural was to invite a world of unknowns and peculiarities the likes of which Michael had never dreamed plausible even after having accepted the reality of his tremendous strength. Such phenomena as flight, command of the elements, and even the rebirth of damaged flesh within moments of the initial injury were present and, indeed, commonplace within the confines of Akashibai Academy. His power- which for so long had separated him from the masses- could be described only as mundane among such beings. This led to more than one incident in which Michael offered aid to what he believed was a wounded peer, only to find a man unscathed by the time he arrived. Others ranged from amused to agitated by Michael's lack of knowledge, which he was working tirelessly to fix through extensive research at the school's library. However, grounds on which his services were made, by and large, obsolete was one that would take a fair bit of adjustment for the boy.
Still, against all manner of protest from the left cortex governing his rational thoughts, Michael could not bring himself to ignore even the potential plight of another. When he saw a student, by all appearances no older than himself, meet the pavement in such a way that her head met violently with the concrete below, he had no choice but to spring into action. The crimson, viscous liquid traveling slowly across her pale skin only further spurred Michael to at least make sure all was well. After all, his research had taught him that regeneration of tissues was not a trait shared by all races. So, his dormitory would have to wait. Michael's course immediately changed to take him toward the young blond at an especially brisk pace, all the while mapping a route to the nearest medical facility in case the worst had come to pass.
At a glance, he was unable to tell the severity of the wound, but the streaming blood made it seem most grievous. The possibilities, he knew, were vast; she could have been afflicted with a concussion, for instance, if the escaped fluids were not an issue. She'll probably be fine, man. I bet she's some sort of super being and the only way to kill her is to cut her head off and throw it into a fire or some crazy stuff like that. Michael scolded himself for his naivete but continued dauntless on his path. When first he reached the young woman, he knelt down to eye level with her and checked that she was conscious. Though her eyes were open, she seemed flustered by her crash, never mind the handheld gaming system that had broken her skin. The roller blades on her feet, whose wheels had only just come to a stop, betrayed the source of her predicament. Michael's concern, however, lay not with the cause, but rather, with the effect.
"You doing alright, pal?" He asked in the friendliest tone he could manage, giving a very warm smile. Michael pulled from his jacket a small piece of cloth and handed it to the girl. Even if her flesh had repaired itself, she would still need to clean her forehead, and he somehow doubted she wanted him to take care of it. "You totally wiped out." He grinned in spite of himself before reaching out and offering to help the girl to her feet. "No headaches or anything? Vision okay?" Ever the man of science, Michael rattled off the common afflictions of those who had suffered a recent head injury. Hopefully, luck would be on his side and the girl would be built to withstand that sort of trauma.

Allison groaned as pain surged through her head, over and over with a terrible pounding as if a thousand drums were sounding off in her head. From the back of her head, to the front pain resonated from both ends, her brain caught in between even for a vampire this was a terrible thing to experience. The world was blurred and distorted, a voice that sounded as if it were coming from under some unseen water spoke to her and slowly but surely the girl realized there was someone looking down at her. A distorted figure was slowly coming into view as the image in her e yes began to clear.
"OF COURSE I'M NOT DOING ALRIGHT!" Allison snapped suddenly without warning it had taken a moment for her to realize what the guy had said and just a little longer for her to respond. Her fangs were quite visible as she spoke, and her yellow inhuman eyes focused on the guy, narrowing in as she scrutinized him. Sniffing the air, and listening to the beat of the young mans heart she could tell within a moment that he was human and instantly a deep hunger stirred within Allison's depths. She took the cloth and jabbed it roughly against her head, only furthering the ache that resonated within. He was grinning at her and offering to help her stand, Allison clenched her teeth tightly and glared at him taking his hand with her delicate looking pale cold to the touch hand and stood up scowling. Carefully Allison stood, her roller blades still on the blonde haired girl had to brace her self against a locker.
"gh.. my head hurts, and I'm a little dizzy and my vsison is wonky but...wait" Allison paused visibly and looked at the human. "Why does a human care? The only time a human wants to lend a hand is when they have somethig to gain...or they feel guilty!? " Crinkling her brow in thought, there was a pause but no where near long enough for the guy to explain him self or anything at all really. "Oh I get it, it's your fault I tripped up isn't it? look at this mess!? how do you intend to pay me back, I have blood on my face, my hair and my clothes and OH! shit!" Allison pushed past him and wheeled over to her game, kneeling down and picking up the object carefully examining it with scrutiny. "Son of...bitch, the screen is broken, blood in the disc drive... this is your fault, how do you intend to make up for this???" Allison's words were like venom, as she twirled around and skated back to the human and she shoved the console into the guys face. "Do you know how hard it was for me to get this?! and all the data I might have lost? FIFTY hours without saving and it's all gone!!, this is all your damn fault you are not getting away with th-"
Her words cut short, Allison staggered the side and placed a hand against the locker and braced her self. The world shifted a little under her feet, making standing on roller blades all the more difficult. "Seriously, you humans are always under foot tripping people up but you are not getting off without paying me back for all of this damage, and headache!" Her tone was accusing but far less harsh and it had the edge exhaustion still despite this she gave him not chance to defend him self against her onslaught of words, Allison pointed her finger and poked him roughly in the chest as she spoke. Fifty hours of gaming had resulted in neglect even when it came to feeding and sleeping, though a vampire like her didn't require sleep it certainly helped conserve energy. She was half tempted to bite this guy, she could imagine her fangs digging into his neck, the thought was intoxicating and was swept aside quickly. A vampire she was but the girl had not willingly bitten a person in years and depite the temptation she would not change that here and now especially after just starting here in a new school.
"Hmpf...you tripped me up, offer me help but you didn't even tell me your name you humans are so rude!" She was ignoring all of the facts, especially the one where she was being rude. This poor guy was she a target for her anger to be focused on, somewhere in her mind she probably knew this...probably. "Shinobou.... is the name of the one you owe" she said (there may be spell errors sorry my phone can be a pain to type with and no spell check)

Michael grimaced and cocked an eyebrow, instinctively drawing his head away from the screaming woman as she rattled on about her wounds. Of course, the naked eye of a human could tell that her head's tissues were already beginning to weave themselves back together, suggesting a regenerative property of a respectably high order. Still, she was clearly flustered, if nothing else, if the ceaseless riddles and circles she spoke in were any indication. To Michael, it seemed her internal logic was breaking down the more she talked, beginning a bizarre chain of contradictory claims and accusations that were surely the sign of a severe concussion. Perhaps, he mused, the healing process of a supernatural being did not extend to blunt force trauma, leaving her brain shaken while her platelets worked to heal her skin.
His confusion reached its apex when she began accusing him of somehow provoking her fall. Many about Akashibai Academy were a fair bit touchy and easily offended, he had surmised, not to mention a suspicious lot. Still, he didn't doubt that a peaceful resolution could be reached, if only the girl could be brought to her senses. Despite clear signs of brain damage, however temporary, the woman insisted on twirling around amid her assassination of Michael's character. I think perhaps I should make it a priority to get this girl to the nurse.[/i] He thought, a blank yet vaguely perplexed expression on his face all the while. He raised his hand to his mouth and forced a cough, unsure of how to react to this near-literal song and dance of a confrontation. Her tone was most venomous, and the words alone stung at the boy, who could only watch vacantly.
The focal point of her frustration was the gaming console that she had broken. Fifty hours she had spent and wasted, somehow managing to have gone for such an absurd length without saving her progress. "Er, well, I mean, it's not my fault you went over two days without saving." Michael grinned sheepishly and ran his fingers uncomfortably through the back of his hair. He wondered if he should tell her that his power was great strength- nothing that could influence her from a distance, at least without him having thrown a heavy object. Then again, Michael doubted that would do much to interrupt her raving. So sharp was her tongue that she immediately started accosting him for not having introduced himself before offering medical assistance.
Michael gave another cough. He was to make it up to her, somehow, though his involvement was limited to extending his hand in a gesture of kindness. "Uh, well, my name's Michael Denton." He stated as simply as he could, hoping not to say anything that could even potentially set off her fuse yet again. "I mean, I guess I could give you one of my handhelds to use, I must have that model lying around somewhere. But, er-" he paused to find the right words, "you seem a little, I dunno, shaken up. Maybe we should stop by the nurse before doing anything else?"

Allison stared at the human for a moment after listening to his words. There was a deliberate pause the shimmering yellow eyes looked on, standing there unmoving like a statue a finger pointed at him still as if she were accusing him, slowly she stood up straight and inhaling slowly pausing for another moment before slowly exhaling heavily, her eyes half closed before placing a cold hand onto her face. "Really? after all that, that's how you react?" Her words had disbelief to their tone, and she made no attempt to hide it. Pulling her hand downwards against the skin of her face Allison gave yet another hefty sigh. This was certainly not the reaction she had expected, and definitely not what she had been prepared for.
Her ears twitched as he spoke again, the offer to be loaned a replacement was actually more then she had wanted, if anything at all really. Clearly she had misjudged the guy, there was no sign of guilt on his face, his heart beat hadn't picked up in the usual flutter associated with guilt nor had he begun to sweat, it was possible just maybe that she had made a mistake the more that the vampires mind back pedaled the less it seemed she had been tripped by him. She had begun to calm down now that the brief fit of rage had subsided, that is until he spoke again saying that she seemed shaken, the girl lower her head letting her brilliant golden hair hang low. "...I.. I really don't understand humans, at all I come at you accusing you, demanding that I be reciprocated for something and you are more worried about my ...well being?! how...odd"
Without warning she looked back up and let off a light sigh. Carefully Allison stood on one foot and pulled the other behind her, reaching back in the same motion she grabbed her roller blade roughly and yanked it off, setting her barefoot onto the tiled floor before doing the same with the other foot the blonde haired girl thrust the roller blades into the guys arms. "carry these, that's what you can do for me.... I uh don't want to see a nurse she probably wouldn't do anything anyway. So lets not waste our time ...er...I uh guess" Her words faltered briefly as she scrambled for an excuse, she wasn't about to tell a human that the nurse scared her more specifically needles scared her.
"Well...whatever, you can just carry these around for me for a while if you are worried about me...and stuff, I'm heading to cafe to get something to munch on...you can come to, since you will be carrying my roller blades, you can have the leftovers, I always buy way to many doughnuts..and shit so you can keep an eye on me if you are so damn worried!" As she spoke her tone dropped off a little, and a very faint blush crept across her pale skin as she looked away. It was as close as he was going to get to an apology, Allison suddenly looked to the ground and kicked a piece of dirt and gave yet another sigh as she muttered to her self. "What a fun first day of school" This fellow would probably take off quickly, he was a human after all and humans didn't trust the other races but she was trying to apologize in her own stubborn manner that didn't involve hitting him.
