It's red eyes glimmered in excitement. There was no better feeling than the one of running through the undergrowth, feeling the wind through fur, leaves and grass under paw. The ultimate feeling of freedom, although the ever present fact that he was not allowed to leave campus loomed in his mind. A mental cage that he wouldn't break too soon, as he had only recently began attending the school. He didn't want to be kicked out so soon. His father would drag him back to the pack without a thought if that happened. The thought of his pure white colored father caused the wolf to stop and huff out in frustration. That old dog would never understand Rollo. Rollo turned to circle around the school before he would put an ending his night run and heading back to his room. It was then that he caught a scent like a bird but off. He hadn't been in wolf form much since he got here but he figured only a student could have a scent that smelled of two things. His hunter instinct was to size up his opponent to find who was prey and who was not. So naturally he found himself following the scent, his tail wagging in the breeze at the prospect of a good fight on a moonless night in a new place with new scents, sights, and sounds. Yalya stood in her clearing. The clearing she shared with Lexus, and the clearing where she shared her night with Leon. Interesting person, that Leon. He was a human and lacked the cowardice many of the Yajuu had shown. Was it cowardice? So many of them reminded her of Fulgrim yet so many also lacked that cruelty... that completely uncaring malice that her "Friend" had showed her. She found it interesting to think of, the difference between cowardice and cruelty. That's how she found herself interpreting so many of the people she had met at this school. They could remind her of HER at times, reacting awkwardly and with fear... She shuddered and pushed the thoughts from her head.

Instead she heard the wind moving through the trees, the soft whistle of the grass in the breeze, and the sound of sudden movement. Movement? Yalya's brow twitched, her eyes closed as the distinct sound of feet on the grass vanished among the rustle of the wind, but didn't return when the wind stopped. It was curious, there were very few animals in these woods and they made no noise, even in the day. Sometimes a deer would be startled or something would stir through the leaves somewhere, but never this overtly. She felt guarded suddenly, barriers beyond her usual psychological ones erecting, instincts kicking in. Fight instincts. Something was out there and she was a Yajuu and a fighter first, a victim and a predator second. Well, a different kind of predator, though the lines between predators could blur, her definition of prey growing much broader.
