asyl entered in the destroyed ruins which was once called "Akashibai Academy". Ever since this pathetic war broke out, the world had to be involved in this chaos. Every single Yaijuu and Human, in the boy's mind, is against each other. Ever since this war happened, this felt like living on the streets all over again! Well... except for the fact that no normal human freaks whenever Vasyl practices his Pyrokinesis when he was homeless. But to be honest, ever since the war started, he did felt glad that he wasn't viewed as a freak anymore, but still... this war was ridiculous. Someone needs to end it once and for all. But, it wouldn't be Vasyl. He knew he couldn't do it alone. Who in the world would listen to a cry from an average gifted human? And a threat wouldn't make a difference at all. "Fuck this war..." He cursed under his breath, as he made a fist with both hands. Both of Vasyl's fists had fire starting to surround the male's fists. But no, he had to control his anger. He can't waste his fire on this ruins. No, can't waste it now. The ifted human slowly looked around at his surroundings. nothing but heavily damaged property, and the forest itself. As Vasyl entered in the ruins, it was a tad bit dark, even though it was already daytime. "Dark as hell... can't see a thing..." He mumbled, as he lifted up his left index finger. His finger started to spark, as a little flame was floating above Vasyl's finger, as a hint of light, coming from the fire was showing. The light wasn't so much bright enough for the boy to see, but he can at least get a good look of his surroundings, though. Vasyl also didn't want to create a huge fire. What if something catches on fire if he makes a huge flame, and then everything goes on fire? Then who would be the blame? "Much better." He said to himself, as he continued walking. Vasyl decided to take a little tour around the academy he used to attend to. Before the war started, and after the boy was kicked out of the streets, and into this school, as Vasyl was in his teen days. The sunlight gazed into the ruins, as more light was given to Vasyl, perfect enough for the boy to see. But then again, who knows when the light will fade? Vasyl had to stick to his own source of light for now. His thoughts of the war still kept pondering around the boy's head. We used to live in such a peaceful world... with the Humans... the Gifted... and the Yaijuu... but now look at this... He thought, as he stopped walking for a moment, then leaned himself against a wall. These creatures have turned against each other... for superiority... to claim that one specie is better than an or the other... tch... His thoughts went out, as the fire on his index finger started to shrink. The flame was almost out, as the wind was softly brushing itself against the flame. Soon, the flame then disappeared on its own, as Vasyl threw his hand down to his sides. These idiots don't know what they're doing at all.. they're all going to destroy the world one day if this war keeps up...! He continued, as he looked up at the sky. Then again, what can Vasyl do? It seems that everyone fights for superiority... or at least fight to live to survive in this madness. Valus walked to the ruins of the school and sighed. His body tired and almost weighed a ton while he moved as he was bloodied from his tireless fights on each front. He kept moving. While he dragged his blade in the ground through the ruins of the school. To find a lost friend. The blades soul he had lost in this place.
His red cloak had been tattered and beaten and almost covered in blood, though it was hard to tell and his shirt and jeans were ripped in some spots with little gash marks that had healed on the skin.
His home.
Battered and ruined. This wouldn't stand with him. He moved to where the teachers lounge was. it was ruins and the dragon that had protected the place was gone as he slumped and pushed to lean on a wall while he panted heavily.
"My... home.. Gone.."
He sighed as he had a vision of his friend and his boss talked to him as he smiled a bit and was able to make use of this time to rest. He kept moving as he turned around and started to move through the school while he placed his blade on his back.
"I'll find you buddy.. I promise."
Though, he noticed that someone else was hear so he grabbed for his pistol as he moved through. Though the voice was familiar. He couldn't put a name to the voice because he was gone for so long. He over heard the person talk.
We used to live in such a peaceful world... with the Humans... the Gifted... and the Yaijuu... but now look at this...
He smiled a bit as he walked over.
"Yeah.. I know what you mean. This place and the world was so beautiful."
He had leaned his back to the wall and slid down the wall. to sit.
These creatures have turned against each other... for superiority... to claim that one specie is better than an or the other... tch...
"all of them claim they are right. To justify this war.. This long battle they all believe that they are right to do what they do. Blinded by all the hate and.." He began to cough a bit as he smiled. "they want to do what they think is right. Though.. It never is.. The church years ago did the same."
These idiots don't know what they're doing at all.. they're all going to destroy the world one day if this war keeps up...!
"Idiots or not.. They want to preserve their future. The world will be destroyed and put into ruins, but we can rebuild. We as a group have done it once and will do so again.."

asyl stopped for a moment, as he heard a voice near. Pushing himself up from the wall, he took a glimpse of his surroundings. Just had to think out loud. He thought, has his head kept on shifting around, until he finally spotted a creature walking over, with a smile across his face. A male creature. Vasyl couldn't really tell if he was rather a Yaijuu, Human, or a Gifted Human. But either way, it felt like trust would be more important to the gifted male. Most of these creatures have normal human appearances, it's hard to distinguish, in his point of view. Maybe Vasyl's "thinking out loud" process got him here, in other news. He then watched the male lean back on the wall, then slid down, getting into a sitting position. Still, it looked like Vasyl was getting ready to throw flames at this creature. But no, he couldn't, and there were two reasons why, even though he has the need to avoid others. This creature approached in a rather easy-goingish persona, and didn't try to make the first move of some sort of threat or an attack. And with some parts of his clothing damaged, it seemed that he too, also had a hard time with this war going on as well. And to be honest, the male looks slightly familiar... the tone, the looks, everything. The days of where Vasyl seen his face a few times either at the halls, or in class. If the gifted male was correct, this guy was a former teacher before all of this turned into a hell hole. But, Vasyl refused to let his guard down. The boy carefully listed to the words that the male was speaking, replying to all of Vasyl's thoughts that was said out loud. "But..." Vasyl tried to get the words to come out of his mouth, but it felt like his mind was clouded with many opinions and statements that needed to be said. Right now, trying to figure out who's who was out of the conversation, but trying to get the words out of his mouth was more important. "But, what if there won't be a future? Minute by minute, everything everybody does would put this planet at stake! And I'm not talking about buildings transforming into ruins either, or water supplies getting low, and expecting everyone in the world to rebuild it. Those creatures out there are rather caring about superiority of their own race. Not only they're getting blinded by hate, but also getting leaded by aggressiveness and ignorance of other races." Vasyl paused for a moment. His thoughts went all over the place in his head right now. Although not caring for others, it felt like there's no need for everyone in the whole world to get involved. It's not worth it. "Placing innocent lives on the line.. using innocent lives to protect theirselves... to use them as meat shields, just for their own purposes and safety.. and by the minute," Vasyl decided to continue, as he curled both his hands into fists, as smoke started to surround. The smell of fire was surrounding the boy for a moment, and the smoke almost came close up to the former teacher. For a moment, Vasyl opened up his hands, and let out a soft sigh. "And by the minute, each blast... hit... or anything would make a step closer to world destruction, as the world is already in its negative state." Vasyl finally said, finishing up. He placed both his hands in both of his gray-colored plaid shorts, as his thumbs were left out in the opening. Vasyl was trying to get into his calm state at the moment. Not ever in his life he actually tried to, or at least cared for others before. "...So." He finally said, as he attempt to change the subject. "My name's Vasyl. Former student of this academy... before the mess." He went on. "Don't mind telling me your name? I'm sort of assuming you were a former teacher here at the academy before this mess too... right?"WORDS: 683 TAGS: Valus, Open NOTES: --- [/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Carter's head nearly started throbbing as she set foot on the Academy grounds again for the first time in ten years. She'd flown over it to make sure it was still there, even if it was in ruins. She came to the Academy when she was sixteen, the war breaking out a year after that. She didn't hate humans, just the Iustus. She knew that not all humans were that evil, just like not all Yajuu's were like the Cruor. That was why she was thinking about officially joining the Resistance, so she could maybe do something to stop this stupid, pathetic war. Even it was just keeping track of other members, she wanted to do something. She was a good fighter, and with increased speed and healing, she could take on multiple attackers at once and hold her own depending on what weapons they had and what they were. The Iusus had adopted silver knuckles instead of steel ones seeing as multiple Yajuu's were vulnerable to silver, but unless they were in a hand to hand fight, Carter would be fine. Besides, she had her own set of steel knuckles, among other things.
Taking a few more steps, she blinked rapidly to fight back tears that had surfaced along with the memories, the scar on her left calf starting to throb as well. the scar, nothing more than a thin, white line on the back of her calf, barely distinguishable most days, was from a silver throwing knife one of them had. She shook he head and stomped her left foot, growling slightly as she absorbed the pain, not trying to fight it but not really noting it. She walked on, giving the appearance that she felt no pain, the scar didn't bother her. She shook her head and listened closely, finding some comfort that the animals had returned to this once happy place, birds chirping somewhere in the trees. She heard something bigger than the usual animal that was found around the Academy and stopped, tensing instantly. She felt for the pair of steel knuckles in her back pockets, her preferred weapon when fighting hand-to-hand, and shifted her weight to feel the familiar shape of the knives in her boots. Ever since the war started, it had become almost second nature to have a weapon on her, even if it was just one of her knuckles. But then she heard the conversation and relaxed. With a small smile, she headed towards the two voices, recognizing them as a student and a teacher from the Academy. Except for the friends she still kept contact with, and those she met on her travels, she hadn't seen anyone from the Academy in a long time. "Or at least try like hell," She said, coming to where the two were and referring to what the former teacher had just said about rebuilding.
She nodded as she listened the younger looking one's speech, for lack of a better word. "Why do you think I spend most of my time in France? At least we have some semblance of peace there." She said after he had finished. "I'm Carter by the way, also a former student. I'm pretty sure we had English or something like that together before this all happened. " She offered with a friendly smile. She always tried to find some light in bad situations, even when the situations were as bad as this. If nothing else, she could have a conversation with another ex-student and a teacher. Even if said teacher looked a bit worse for wear. She herself was in shorts and a tank top that had "I fancy the lead singer" written across it. She'd had it since before the war, and it was still one of her favorite shirts. Even if the world was in hell, she still looked for some levity in life.
