[/div] If something goes wrong, Amarantha had crawled out of her bed earlier this morning. Literally. She wasn't much of a morning person but then again... who was? Not anyone she knew of that she could think of at the moment. But she normally had the problem of staying up way too late to begin with. She was a night person that nothing could really change that. She always has been and chances are she always will be. Not that she didn't mind it of course... but sometimes it would be better if she was a morning person. not everyone can get what they want in life and that is just tough luck. you get what you earn. At times it's better to be a night person, mostly during the summer with all the parties that tend to go on at night. Then again... that only matters if you're actually invited to those which Amarantha normally isn't... because she isn't as social-able as she wishes she was. It sucked at times but it was life and she simply just got over the fact and didn't mind it after a while.
Wearing her favorite dress, she flew from the mountain to which she resides with her grandfather to the very outskirts of a town. She had read everything in their personal library and decided it was time to invest in a library card with the humans. Her bright white wings retracted into her back before she continued on foot. Walking always made her sleepy for some reason, perhaps due to the lack of excitement that it had. That was always a down side to her. Slowly drifting into sleep but resisting it for fear of face planting. Resisting the urge to sleep was actually really hard for her. which is why she hated the feeling. Or when one of your body parts falls sleep and when you move it, it feels like pins are it in. She hates that as well. It was never high on her list of things she actually liked.
Finally she arrived to the town, Amarantha pushed her way through the crowd and headed towards a little directory, somehow, her left foot had fallen asleep. She immediately stopped walking and waited a moment before the pain was semi tolerable. She grumbled to herself as she walked. Figuring out which way the library actually was, she headed towards it. Once her foot was fully awake, she stopped her silly looking limp she hadn't even noticed she was doing and strolled down a few more streets and went up a staircase. She continued down one more hall way before actually making it to the library. a place she was actually rather happy to find.
Amarantha always has enjoyed the library because it was the only place she actually had the chance to concentrate. She made her way around the library looking for books about anything and everything. One about astronomy really caught her eye causing her to grab it and find an empty table. She pulled the chair out and sat down. Slowly she opened the rather old looking book... she was awesome at this subject. She opened the book and turned to page 74. Her fingers traced the star patterns on the map that was shown. Draco the Dragon was always her favorite. Letting out a sigh, she raised her left hand, placed her elbow on the other side of the book and rested her head in that hand. her left hand slightly sliding in her hair as she stared down at her book trying to figure out what she was even suppose to do with this. She already knew the main things about the subject and this book would probably just tell her the same thing, still she resisted the urge to sleep and day dreaming. but she normally day dreams during the day and all day.
Her eyes grew heavier and heavier as she looked at her Astronomy book before they actually closed for a moment. Her head lost balance and she face planted right in to her book. She instantly shot up which caused her chair to lean back a little too far and caused her to fall backwards. "I knew i shouldn't had gotten out of bed this morning..." she whined to herself before getting up and feeling like everyone was staring at her as she fixed the chair and sat bad down only to end up staring aimlessly at the book again... The crowds parted before him, giving him room as his path was made for him with no effort expended. People were inclined to give this stranger a wide berth, the man was tall and built with wide shoulders a strong face; an eye patch a black cloak with a sword at his back was enough for people to wish to avoid contact. Of course the ice cold stare that came from his lone electric blue eye was certainly enough to assist him in this regardless. He was a stranger to this land and no one knew who he was, and it seemed people wished to keep it that way.
Alexander paid them no heed as he made his way towards the library. They meant nothing to him, except to gnaw away at his nerves with their presence. Either they gawked at him with gaping blank expressions or they turned their eyes to the ground out of fear it was pathetic but he didn't have the interest to provoke a more entertaining response today. Hands stuffed into his pockets beneath the cloak that didn't match the current weather he continued to his destination.
The library doors opened wide as Alexander stepped into the main room. The room was empty save for a young girl dozing at a table, and an elderly pair chatting quietly on the other side of the room who paused mid conversation to stare before giving Alexander a polite smile which he actually returned.
He moved quietly along scanning the tomes for a specific book. it wasn't hard to find the one he sought, it was new far, to new to belong to this library and it didn't even have a title on the spine just a plain white book boring to look at and easily passed over. Alexander reached out from under his cloak and the reason for it would be obvious to anyone who could see it; his shirt was stained a sinister crimson of blood, whether it was his or another persons no one would be able to say for sure. Taking the book he opened it to reveal a hollowed out section inside of which was a pouch that jingled when Alexander lifted it, along with that there was a sealed envelope. The envelope he knew would contain names, and that was all; the names would be of people in town maybe even that elderly couple nearby or that young girl dozing off.
Putting the empty book back as he turned to leave, Alexander began to walk past, suddenly she jerked up and tipped back into her chair. A thud as she fell back and then stood to fix her chair mumbling. Sitting back down and pretending to stair at her book Alexander paused for a single moment and just blinked, then he chuckled, and then he just flat out laugh with one hand over his gut and the other (after placing down his pouch and letter on the table) braced him self and laughed hard.
It took a minute for the laughter to subside as he wiped the tear from his eye. "...oh....man, I definitely agree, you should have stayed in bed. But whew I'm glad you didn't that was way to funny" he chuckled again and gave her a genuine smile, that beamed like sun light towards her, his abnormally sharp ears had picked up her whining where most humans wouldn't have noticed.
now that he took a moment to study her closely she was kind of cute. "I'm sorry for laughing" he said giving her a more practiced smile that was warm. "and yet I'm not sorry at all" without a any warning Alexander slide into the seat next to Amarantha "For you see, you falling out of the chair made my day" His words were smooth and he forgot himself for the moment, he forgot his attire and the task he was supposed to be doing. "My name is.... Andre, truly it is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope that fall did you no harm"
using his real name could cause problems in the long run.

[/div] If something goes wrong, Amarantha had noticed the man walk past but she didn’t pay much attention to him for a moment. Her greenish eyes couldn’t help but be drawn to him. Her eyes moved back to the book as she started to day dreaming.
After her embarrassing scene, she heard laughing. This didn't help her feeling of embarrassment go away. She turned to look at the culprit and was shocked to see the man from earlier. Her face nearly lit up like a red light before she could even look at him. As he lied his pouch and letter upon the table her eyes shifted to him, he was laughing even harder!
As his laughter calmed down she looked back at her book wishing she wasn't so clumsy and embarrassing. She half laughed and half smiled at his comment as to how he was glad she hadn’t stayed in bed. At this moment she got a good look at his face. He wasn’t bad looking. Correction. He was pretty darn good looking.
At first, she was satisfied with him apologizing… then offended when he wasn’t sorry and then just happy she could make someone’s day. “you are welcome then,” she playfully winked at him and laughing softly. Her laughter was always a warm light-hearted kind, one that could make any human feel a more comfortable around her. The actually affects it has on Yajuu, well that is still unknown to her. Her small slender fingers ran through her golden locks as she turned slightly towards him. “My name is Amarantha and the pleasure is all mine.” she paused for a moment and moved some hair out of her eyes. “ I’ve suffered from worse falls. I believe I’ll live.” she half joked.
The worst fall she’s ever done was when she was flying over a mountain, she wasn’t paying very much attention and she hit a giant pine tree. This caused her to fall from her flight and hit nearly every branch on the way down. Thank goodness for her healing abilities or she would have been dead. “ so, what brings you to this part of Canada? If you don’t mind me asking of course.” she paused for a moment before deciding she’ll go on about herself first. “ I’m here to read this book, a book I’ve read nearly a hundred times already but it’s the only book that has come out recently about the stars. Interesting objects they are. Sun’s over a billion miles away. “ she shut her pretty little mouth when she realized she had been rambling.
Her delicate hands closed the large book about the stars before she turned to him again. “ personally, my favorite is Draco the Dragon because well.. Dragons are pretty awesome in my opinion. “ she laughed to herself and looked back at the book.
Suddenly, a tickling feeling was going on in her nose. She didn’t think much of it until her eyes looked at something bright. It was a sneeze coming on which didn’t really freak her out. Sneezes were normal. Her turned away from Andre to sneeze.
Her head tilted back slightly as she started breathing in heavily. Suddenly the sneeze went away and she calmed down. She put her finger under her nose to stop it as a ‘just in case’. The moment she moved her finger away, she threw her head back and sneezed so hard her face smashed into the book in front of her. She only made a petite noise with her sneeze but the sound of her head crashing in to the book over powered it.
She lied there for a moment before lifting her head. She could smell iron inside and the feeling of something rushing out of her nose. She turned to him laughing lightly. “ I’m fairly clumsy at times…’ I'M ACCOUNTABLE

Alexander watched her reactions with great interest; noting every twitch and quiver her face made. Definitely cute were the thoughts that bounced around his head as he watched her. She brought a smile to his face with ease, always one to have a weakness for beautiful girls he hadn't realized he was already lost within her eyes and Alexander gave her a charming smile, while his one good eye continued to watch her, not staring but observing with great interest.
"Amarantha, a name that rings in my ears as if it were a melody that will linger with me and keep me warm through the cold nights" The words were smooth as silk and rolled from his tongue naturally; while speaking Alexander propped his head on his hands and leaned forward a little with great interest. "Hmm...worse falls? I can certainly believe that, a lady like your self is surely honest as the sun is bright" He added the sun part, because her hair reminded him of sunlight in it's bright beauty.
She shifted the conversation to his reason for being here, and his smile faltered a little, but he didn't notice. His reason for being here was quite the dirty business and blood would be spilled before he left, as it always was where ever his feet would tread blood would flow."I'm a traveler of sorts and I happen to have business in the area, just rolled into town this hour past and it seems lady luck was with me that I might enter the room at this time for any earlier or later and I might have missed a chance to speak with you" He smiled quite widely at her embarrassment to a ramble. "You needn't worry" he said almost reading her mind. "I certainly don't mind listening to you talk, and that book sounds interesting, when the time presents its self I tend to indulge in literature my self"
Alexander gave a laugh when she told him her favorite book, it was no mocking laugh just pleasant. "Dragons? hmm I've met a few in my time as a traveler, many of the older ones will talk till your grave comes knocking on your door and the younger ones are impatient like children on Christmas...I've met a few that were pleasant to know of course, but in all they are a proud race" Many of those however were dead 10 years past, but he tried not to let the pang of sadness seep into his expression.
Watching her as she sneezed hard Alexander was glad for the distraction against the constant pang of the pasts cold grip. A chuckle escaped his lips when she looked at him and smile, "At times" he agreed; reaching into his cloak he drew a piece of cloth it was clean but it was old at least a decade but in good shape, cared for very well it held faint embroidery that might have once been beautiful. Offering it to Amarantha with one hand, with the other he removed his sheathed sword from his back and leaned it against the table, the silver chain that bound the hilt and sheath jingled a little. "As long as no permanent damage is done"
"Clumsy isn't always a bad thing of course" He added. "It certainly helps your already substantial charisma, why I'm surprised you don't have a harem of boys following you around" He spoke seriously, but his eye gave a (one eyed) wink of jest and joke.
