The scene was set somewhere in North America there lay a forest; the sun hung in the sky and not a single cloud in the sky leaving the sea above an amazing blue. Beating down warm gentle rays on the world this day, the wind had taken the day off from stealing hats, and papers the world was at peace. Birds chirped and animals enjoyed them selves without a care in the world, and yet there was one place that never quite felt right, the birds never sang and the animals kept their distance; a site once grand now ruins 10 years passed.
This was the place where the war began, Akaashibai Academy, once a grand school with laughing students, lecturing teachers and a marvel of acceptance for all. Now all that remained were shells of buildings, broken windows and should you listen closely the echoed screams of those whom were taken from life.
Many people sought out the school for many reasons. The school once had an amazing collection of books, both magical and not, during the battle many powerful Yajuu fell leaving behind rumors of the weapons they carried. Some people just wanted to visit the place where it all began, and some even talked of resurrecting some of the fallen with dark necromancy, and some came here to protect the ruins from being looted and plundered claiming more noble reasons; and surely if one wished a thousand more reasons to search this ruin from a peaceful era would be found.
Today a figure walked through an open field, past the dead tree, next to a pond once sparkling water now block and thick like oil from despair and death. He was humanoid with an eye patch, his black hair fell down around. He wore nothing other than a white T-shirt, Jeans and old tired sneakers and finally he had a sword at his back with a silver chain wrapped around the hilt. This man was built tall and strong he had an imposing figure, and a serious face he appeared to be somewhere between 19-24.
This man wore no mark or rebels, Iustus or Curor nor did he give indication of being human or otherwise. Some may see him as an intruder of whomever claimed owner ship of this land, and some may have think him a grave robber. He gave no indication of his purpose being here, but rarely did anyone ever come here for the right reason.
Alexander stopped walking for a moment and turned his electric blue eye to the sky and gave a sigh.

Most of the students here at the beloved school which used to be called Akashibai Academy fell apart, mostly because of this vain war going on for the past ten years straight. Heh. Looked like it was a mistake to let those pesky humans allowed in a school filled with Yaijuu, along with the Gifted. Hands curled into a shape of a fist, and red eyes, shivering at the ground, as Vincenzo was walking his way through the forest. It seems the forest keeps growing wider and wider by the minute, as it looks like it already took place of where the academy used to be. No, there was nothing left behind... except for the ruins of the school... and the bright day surrounding the ruins.
Blood. Blood was the only thing Vincenzo can imagine now. In this case, Vince blamed this war all on the humans. Well, he didn't entirely know who started this war, but he was betting it was all on the humans. If they wouldn't start crap with the Yaijuu, none of this would of happen. Now because of that first move, the world is put on the line. "Freakin' Humans.." The Elementum hissed under his breath, as he kept on walking through the forest. "I knew it was a bad idea to let humans enroll in an all Yaijuu school... why do humans even exist anyway?" He questioned, as he let out a soft growl through his lips.
Though, Vince needed to keep his temper. Something like that should be kept out of mind. Although Vincenzo can control his temper, he can just let himself snap and try to burn this fire, letting out all of his anger. But no, it wasn't worth it just yet. All Vince can do right now, is just let out a sigh. Right now, Vince felt like he could of joined the Cruor, and help wipe out every human in sight. But no, the group would only get in his way. For the Iutus... well no. Vince isn't a dirty human. For the Resistance... well.. that would be a maybe. Vince would indeed like some peace in the world for once. This war has went on for ten years, and so far, it is all a draw between the three groups.
As Vince kept on walking, he spotted a tall, young boy, over here at the fields. Vincenzo has seen this boy before... and probably other students here at the halls before this mess. Where have I seen this boy before...? Vince wondered. His red eyes was glaring at the tall young man who was standing near the pond. Although, trying to say a hi and be polite felt like it would be asking for trouble. Right now, Vince doesn't really know how to approach to the male, without trying to cause any pointless trouble, or come along a little bit strange. Maybe a normal hi could do. And so it was decided, as Vince slowly started to walk to the male, slowly and cautiously.

Alexander had sighed, turning his eye back to the world as the foreign presence drew near. He regarded Vincenzo with a cold eye, the eye of a killer deciding whether or not this guy was a threat or if he had foul intent for this grave site. There was a momentary debate mentally whether or not this man should be cut down just for being here, but in the end Alexander decided against it. It it could be avoided this place deserved peace and no more violence within its forgotten grounds.
It was rare for Alexander to decide against a fight, but he really couldn't bring himself to bring violence to this place, to this grave the dead deserved their peace it was the least the living could do for them. So as long as he could avoid it Alexander would try and avoid any forms of aggression beyond self defense. He gave another heavy sigh and turned to face Vincenzo "And you are?" speaking with a guarded voice he began to walk forward.
"Better yet" He continued to speak as the grass seemed to spread for him as he passed giving a normally difficult trek seem to be done with the greatest of ease. "Why are you here? this place is nothing more then a grave now" He didn't speak harshly, more out of curiosity perhaps someone he knew died here, or perhaps he had been a student. Not allowing his face to betray his emotions Alexander continued to draw closer, hands stuffed hidden in his pockets he kept moving.
Drawing close the sense of nostalgia washed over him, the same as seeing someone from your home town after being away for so long; it really didn't matter whether or not they knew one another Alexander knew as he grew closer the same way a bird knows how to fly after it's born, that whoever this guy was had been in the school 10 years past.

So this was the academy that prospered so long ago. The one that had yajuu and humans living together peacefully. The place that Roxanne had built up and had watched fall down. How sad. The sun was high in the sky as a soft wind blew. Flashes of red were seen among the ruins as the female walked. Bare feet were silent against the ground as she made her way through the debris of the buildings. How long had it been since she has seen this place? The last time she walked these halls was when it was burning to the ground. Iustus had destroyed this place but she had come to watch it crumble. Her toes moved over the groves in the floor. Slash marks if you will. Most likely from her axe. A slow breath escaped the female as she stepped back out into the sun. Long scarf hanging behind her, she looked over the open area.
This female was dressed in her usual attire. The black pants dragging on the ground barely covering her bare feet. The white button up shirt was only buttoned with three buttons exposing her bra and a bit of her midriff. The sleeves hung down so that only the red of her long claws were exposed. And then there was the scarf. The deep blood red scarf that was wrapped around her neck and hung behind her. It's end was tattered and torn and shifted slightly in the wind. Blood red hair hung down her back and framed around her face. The electric blue eyes scanned the area once more settling on two boys. From what she could tell the two were here on a visit. Probably ex-students coming to pay their respects. How cute.
Letting her hand hang loosely at her side, the female simply studied them for a while. The one male had eyes like she did, which meant he must have been an umbra. The other was a demon as well, but he didn't seem to be of such a pure blood. Something dirty. What were they called? Bestia? The female cringed at the thought. Though the two would make a nice addition to her collection for experimenting. They probably sensed her presence by now so no need for her to hang back. "You two visiting the ruins? Such a tragedy isn't it? The school fell so easily beneath the hands of the Iustus. How sad." She smiled showing pointed canines as she approached the two boys.

As Vincenzo was slowly approaching to the male, he stopped for a moment, as the male probably sensed Vince's presence, as Vince was also given that prejudice-ish look with his eye. The Elementum was already on his feet, and wasn't much sure if this male wanted to fight Vince, with that look on his face. But either way... no. Vince didn't want to fight. No, not here at least. Then, Vince watched as the male let out a heavy sigh escape, as he turned to the Elementum.
"And you are?"
Vincenzo can already sense the prudence in his male's voice. And to be honest, the Elementum wasn't planning to bring along any violence or destruction in the fields, and possibly to the ruins. As much as Vincenzo is sometimes, or mostly always on his feet, the male didn't look much of a threat to Vince at all. And Vincenzo didn't want to be viewed as a threat at all as much as another guy. Vince already flinched a little in his standing position. Judging by that tone, it seems like this male rather probably cared about the dead creature that lies under the ground, resting in peace at either heaven, or burning and tortured in hell. But, before Vince can try to introduce himself, he heard the other male speak.
"Better yet"
"Why are you here? this place is nothing more then a grave now"
Vince stood silent for a moment. The way the male spoke wasn't rough... or a hint of threat. But, showing a bit more of tranquility, and the fact that maybe this male doesn't want Vince here or maybe? Either way, Vince had some reasons of being here. Personal reasons to be exact and specific. "Funny." Vince finally had some words coming out of his mouth, as he too to, still cautiously, move towards to the male. "I was about to ask you those exact same questions you asked me." Vince continued. Not that he was trying to sound rhetorical or something like that, but was rather wondering, and was about to ask the same, well similar, questions.
Maybe this person was some sort of former student at the Academy before the war.. blaming it on the humans, of course would be Vince's excuse. Though, Vince didn't really member who started this, but his bet was all on the humans. But, before Vince can throw back some questions at the male, he sensed also some sort demonic... energy, or whatever close by, then heard a voice. A feminine voice to be exact. Turning around, Vincenzo saw a red-headed female. Didn't really need to go much into the details of the appearance, but was rather focusing on the words that came out from the female.
All Vince could do was to stay quiet. He didn't snap, or get into an alerted position, asking for a fight, or automatically seeing this female as a threat. Not because she was a woman, but there was something strange about her that just ticks Vincenzo out, with inquisitiveness. The Elementum slightly flinched his head back, as he saw the smile of the female, showing out her tusks. Kind of gave Vince the shivers down his spine, but Vince remained quiet, until he decided to spat out, "Who are you?" With a tranquilized tone, but was hidden with.. also inquisitiveness.
Now, Vincenzo may not know these two so well, or the fact that just maybe one of them, or both, or none, are former students in the academy, or anything about their species and whatnot, since Vince isn't so much a pro at sensing who's who, but all Vince knew is that he couldn't let his guard down.

" I have no interest in playing games with you" Alexanders voice was flat when his question was returned with the same question.Any other time and Alexander would have attacked this ignorant fool, however on this day and this time there would be no blood spilled as long as the choice was his. Pausing for a moment more Alexander stopped walking and looked towards the ruined school building, "I guess that puts us at an impasse"
They both seemed to have a mutual respect for the dead here, and at least that was something the two of them agreed on. Otherwise surely the two would be at one anothers throats without any hesitation, perhaps it didn't matter if they didn't like one another at least the two could keep the peace here. "Whatever then, I'm not interested enough to press the issue honestly, if you wish to take a child like stance on this, then by all means I-"
Suddenly he stopped, as a womans voice rang out Alexander cursed under his breath. The voice was lyrical and enchanting, he once might have sensed her but his Umbra powers for the most part was sealed temporarily by the silver chain around his sword, so that as long as it was with him and sheathed he was only a step above human. It only took a glance to know her, his lone eye gazed over the woman's body, she was a looker it would be easy to fall for such a girl, however it was her eyes even from a distance a predator always recognized another. That didn't mean she was a threat or had dark intentions here but it did mean she was very dangerous, the biggest problem with that was that, well it only seemed to add to her to attractiveness. This was a problem, Alexander's biggest weakness was an attractive woman, far more so when she held such powerfully dangerous eyes.
"Hardly a tragedy, more of the sealing of fate for those who did" For a moment he forgot both of the two with him "I fully intend to crush those of Iustus, and all those associated with them until nothing is left save their ashes, no matter what it takes they will fall" His voice was harsh, it was the voice of a warrior whom had fought many battles and knew death as one would an old friend. "and what brings you here?" he asked regarding her carefully reminding him self that she was more dangerous then she was beautiful. "Him" Alexander said tilting his head towards Vince "I can understand him being a student there, but you if someone as...intense as you had been a student or more likely I would have known"
Glancing at the other fellow, at least it seemed that he wasn't allied with this girl, so with any luck this would be resolved without fighting. Alexander wasn't usually lucky but he still would throw those dice. Taking some form of solace that by the looks of it if she attacked the other guy would be more likely to assist Alexander, the question was whether or not Alexander could trust himself to not side the beautiful and dangerous woman.

A soft wind seemed to blow around the female tugging at her scarf. The sun was warm against her skin as she stopped a good distance away from the two. This land was sacred and she had been right in thinking the two were here to pay respects. They had been students. Perhaps they had encountered her when she was here for the school burning. A sly smile crossed her face as Nyteri materialized behind her. Crossing one clawed arm over the other, she leaned against the axe's long handle and focused her eyes on the pair. A shiver washed through her as she sensed their power. She was definitely in the presence of two demons. One Umbra and One Elementum. Oh how delightful. It had been years since she had taken apart an Umbra. Perhaps she could try combining the two? As her mind seemed to wander, she realized they were responding to her.
"Who am I? Well I do go by many names." Her voice was slick and predatory as she spoke. "I suppose you can call me Keres. Yes Keres, that is the name I go by now." The female pushed a strand of blood red hair out of her eyes. Taking a deep breath, the demoness took in all the smells around her and her eye brows rose slightly. It seemed the one was rather interested in her. She took a long moment to decide her next few words. "Crushing the Iustus would be rather fun. As for what I'm doing here well reliving memories I suppose. There are many things about this place that I remember. The walls burning people screaming. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was dying and who was fighting."
Oh the memories. The smell of fire and smoke. Burning flesh and people dying. A shiver ran down her spine as she bit her lip. She shifted a bit to cross her legs. "You two must have been students? Did you fight to protect this place? It's so sad that Roxanne had to die. Her screams of pain were quite beautiful you know." The words were soft as she locked eyes with the Umbra. Just how many buttons could she push. What would they do to her if they were mad enough. Or perhaps they knew better than to take her on. This encounter was turning out to be quite amusing. The female had shifted to a more seductive stance instead of predatory. She was only feeding on the pheromones that they were giving off. Could she get one of them to come home with her?

Vince just decided to stay quiet throughout the whole conversation. Well to be honest, the Elementum didn't really know much about this "Iutus" group, as it was just mentioned in this little talk. But it felt like this had something to do with humans, or so. Don't ask where Vincenzo's been for the last ten years ever since this war. But still, Vince decided to remain quiet, just for now. It looked like Vince couldn't find the right statement to throw in this conversation.
Keres.. The thought of the name just gives Vince the chills for some reason. He couldn't even try to repeat the name in his head for some sort of reason. Then again, the 10 year old war always gives him the chills, which just makes Vincenzo want to take him back before all of this... good grades... the love of learning, making friends.. well.. no. That would be out of the question. And here he is now, ten years during the war. Talking to two creatures he doesn't know, and just strolling around the ruins of once called Akashibai Academy just for some personal reasons.
For a moment, Vincenzo decided to wander off in his own little world... a world where there isn't war... and a world with no one in it. Just his own world. He just decided to just picture the world right now, without the war breaking out, and spreading across the glob. But, that was when Vince heard the female questioning if he and the other male used to be students in the academy before all of this.
"You two must have been students? Did you fight to protect this place? It's so sad that Roxanne had to die. Her screams of pain were quite beautiful you know."
Vincenzo's mind went foggy for a moment. It's been ten years ever since the war started, and still on-going. It's hard to remember who's who anymore, until now ever since. But still, Vince still couldn't find the right statement to spat out. The boy just feels a little too traumatized, not only by the words, but by the horrible memory of what happened ten years ago. This war thing just kept on taping his mouth shut.

Alexander gave her a smile at first a blood thirsty smile as the though of crushing Iustus poured into his mind, the number of corpses he had piled up in ten years was staggering but there was almost more to be done. Then his smile faded a little so she had been here 10 years ago, and now she was reliving memories, perhaps that was what they were all doing. Normally he might have been inclined to hit on the girl or something had they not been at this grave, but also she just, felt, so, WRONG.
Alexander might have over looked the sense of wrong but she spoke about Roxanne, personally he had never cared for the principle but he had always understood why she did what she did. Her words were soft as her two eyes looked into his one and his own spine shivered from what? excitement? lust? fear? rage? he didn't know but he did know where this was headed. Slowly his hand raised to masamune the sword at his back, he already could tell the sword would not allow the silver chain that bound it to be broken, his powers as an umbra for now would be useless. "She was a fool" he said harshly, shaking his head once to the side to flick his hair away so that his hair no longer fell in front of his eye patch. "But she did not deserve to die, and this is a grave so I'll ask you to please mind your tongue in the presence of the dead! he practically snarled. The aura charged with energy but subsided as the silver chain grew hot.
Pulling the sheathed sword free he pointed it at her. "I don't know you, but I would consider it a favor that I would gladly repay if you treated the dead at least here of all places with respect, they deserve that much..Since you seem to have come here to savor the destruction" Lowing the sword, he didn't break eye contact with her, he never liked favors no idea what she might ask in return or if she would even do it but a fight here would be bad.
Alexander's one good eye looked to the unnamed companion. "you damn fool! snap out of it!" he snarled with anger at his detachment from the situation. "If you can't pull your head out of your ass" He said quietly in a extremely low tone to this other guy, as he expected Keres to be a Yajuu of sorts with extremely good hearing, "Then leave, and get out of the way, I can't protect you here if this does turn into a fight"
"Keres" Alexander said calmly returning his attention to her. "I don't know what you want from us, but I've been around long enough to know when someones trying to provoke me" His words were calm, but her pose was provocative and it stoked fires within him. "Cut the bull shit, tell me what you want, if you want a fight I'll give you- but not here, that is my only condition" Alexander was no stranger to trying to provoke a fight with words he had down it a million times before and this girl was subtle but it wasn't hard to tell her intent. Obviously there had only been one reason to bring up the former head master like that.
He gave her a faint smile "You are right though, i fought here ten years ago, and It was my mistake that led to many students deaths, and I owe it to them to try and protect their restful slumber"

The air changed and there was a sudden spark of power. Power that seemed to be coming from the one eyed boy, but just as suddenly as it had appeared it was gone. The female ran a tongue over her lips tasting the air. Mm he was an umbra but there was something about him. Something that was holding him back. Burnt metal filled the air and her eyes flicked to the chain on his sword. Was he bound? Oh ho. There was so much that was interesting about this young man. His companion was silent. Perhaps out of fear. Yes that was it. The elementum was terrified, but not only of her. He was afraid of the war. Was he having flash backs? How delightful and she didn't even have to cause them. The demoness didn't miss his shiver and a grin crossed over her, showing pointed canines and all. "You want to owe me a favor? Oh my boy you should be careful what you say."
Leaving her axe behind, the female began to walk towards the one eyed Umbra. She eyed his sword and couldn't help but laugh. This was positively adorable. Keres stepped right up to the end of his sword and smiled as he put it away. "I don't respect the dead, but for a favor I might be able to." When the man turned his attention to the other companion she couldn't help but grin. "You want me to respect this land and all the people here. Would you be willing to give up your life? This applies to the both of you. Would you be willing to give up your life to protect the dead?" The words were soft and sweet as she spoke them. Nyteri suddenly appeared in her hand and she let the blade touch the ground.
Now that she was close to the Umbra, she couldn't help but admire him. What an attractive specimen he would make. Perhaps she could even give him a nice new eye. One that would be better than his previous one. Raising her clawed hand slightly towards his face, she stopped herself and let it fall back to her side. "A fight is something that I might enjoy. It would be fun to see what and Umbra and an Elementum are capable of. Would you fight together or would you Mr. Umbra try to protect him." The female shifted the giant axe so that it was resting on her shoulders. "The price for me not disturbing this land is your lives. Give them to me and I will not set foot here again." A malicious grin crossed over her as she stood in front of the one eyed boy.

(sorry Cosmo) The other one left, Alexander wasn't surprised, they always left he always fought alone, people; humans and Yajuu were all the same they abandoned you at the first sign of trouble. It wounded him on some level he refused to acknowledge, well Alexander wouldn't be like that. As the guy fled Alexander made sure he was between them in the chance that Keres would attack a fleeing victim, he gave the unnamed person no further looks or thoughts, he was used to it there was no one not even his sister that he would count on should things go sour. Another reason he had not picked a side in this conflict, he wasn't going to trust them.
"Ignore him, hes hardly worth your time" He spat into the ground. "I'll throw my life in the ring without hesitation no matter how strong you are, if you will leave those here to rest" His words were calm, and like steel they had an edge to them, there was no way to tell what this girl might do, he had a feeling she was a creature of whim. They were close they could touch each other without their weapons and again he was struck by the intensity of her beauty, but he wouldn't falter not with a fight brewing.
"Then its a fight, I'll put my life up if you swear to leave this place, beat me and my life is yours to claim however you wish" Alexander said after a long pause as he looked around the school grounds, probably for the last time. "but not here, and since I'm such a gentleman I'll let you pick place"He gave her a smile that was genuine, deciding not to tell her that he probably would have made the same deal on his life with her in anyplace or time.
Alexander even leaned in a little towards her to give her body a look over just for the enjoyment of it. The sense of danger was almost exciting, he craved this fight, right now it no longer mattered that he was almost human level of power, or that a chain that couldn't be broken with simple strength of magic, bound most all of his abilities, some minor telekinesis, and basic healing was it. He couldn't stop him self, her presence was overpowering the way she was now.
He had no idea how but somehow she gave the impression of a mad scientist, the type who would do crazy experiments on people, or give you sleeping drugs in your tea and when you woke up you were strapped to a table about to be experimented on and other crazy things. Of course that was silly he told him self in a silent chuckle, if only he knew the truth.
Giving her a long look and a charming smile, he laughed out loud without warning.
"Suddenly I've changed my mind" he spoke without thinking, his mind was running on auto pilot. "I'd like to fight here I doubt you have any objections, to give the ones that I failed a show, I know they must hate me for my failure so I think they deserve to see this" His eye was clear and bright, almost charged with energy and excitement. "Let the dead be our spectators! let these ruins be our coliseum and the silent screams of the dead be the cheers of our audience! before they can be left in peace, we will give them a true show! I'll allow this to be stained just once more! so let us clash! I fear not death, nor you!"
"since you are the lady we will begin anytime you are ready" He took his sheathed sword by the hilt, and took a practice swing at the thick grass, his sword moved as a blur and even though it was sheathed and blunt it slashed through the grass with no problems cutting a section of grass down. He would hold nothing back in this weakened state he knew she could bring him down without a second thought, if she went all out, but that didn't meant he was a push over not at all. Not that it mattered, winning, losing, all that mattered now was the fight, being so close to such an intoxicatingly beautiful woman whom held such intense eyes overrode all his logic and thoughts, it also seemed to bring out a flair for theatrics and dramatics.
It was her move

A sly smile crossed over her face as she watched the other boy leave. There was a flicker of thought about going after him, but when the Umbra shifted his stance to block her the female instantly tossed that thought aside. This boy seemed to rather enjoy the fought of battle. His body was practically humming with excitement. "So willing to give up your life. I can't tell if you are noble or a complete idiot, but I am leaning towards the latter." A light laugh slipped from the female as she kept close to him. He was a rather interested boy. Perhaps she could trap him into her services. She could very well use his talents. Speaking of talents, her gaze flicked to his sword. Now that she was close she could see a chain that was placed on it. The power it was giving off definitely made it some type of seal. A grin spread across her face. Perhaps she could turn things around.
When he leaned closer to her, she had to resist the urge to laugh again. This boy had quite the attraction to dangerous women. It might just get him killed one day. "You think I am one to jump so quickly into a fight? While I enjoy fighting, I much prefer making deals. How would you like to make a deal?" Shifting a bit, she placed a clawed hand on her hip. Her voice was smooth like silk as she spoke. "My deal is this. Give me your life. Pledge your services to me and in return I will reward you greatly. I can remove that chain on your blade as well as give you a new eyes. Perhaps one that is better than the on you had? And to top it all off I can supply you with the means to single-handedly take down the Iustus. Now what do you say?" The female practically purred as she stepped a bit closer to him. The space between them was getting smaller.
She didn't even flinch when he swung his sword. Was this a show of his manhood? How precious. Nyteri suddenly appeared in her hand and she pushed the giant axe to rest on her shoulders. A smile dancing at her lips as she held his gaze. "But if you crave battle so badly. I can always beat you within an inch of your life and force you to work for me. You seem like you'd like the idea of being dominated by a powerful woman." Keres purred the words as she let out another small laugh. If he wanted the dead to watch, they could watch all they wanted. She didn't care where they fought or what happened. But one way or another she was leaving here with him, whether she had him come willingly or had to beat him within an inch of his life. This one was going to be hers.

His mood sullied just a little as the spark of excitement died when she proposed a deal. "Well... I could hope?" he replied when she said she was not to just quickly jump into the fray. Listening to her deal a smile spread across his face, not because he was interested, sure it was a good offer, to a degree but. "Hmm.. pledge my services? that sounds boring" raising his sword up to the sky to look at it in the sun light, the silver chain glinted brilliantly. "What makes you think this seal was forced upon me? " He looked at her with a smile that told a deeper story. "You shouldn't make such assumptions so readily"
"Still" He said after a moment of looking to the sky, his face was passive as he was in thought. "Destroying the Iustus sounds good, and yet" He looked at her "swearing loyalty is a pain, wouldn't it be simpler to slug it out?" To him that statement was perfectly reasonable, to the rest of the world it was the other-way around. "What to do" Alexander looked Keres over again, this was quit the odd situation, usually he was able to just start a fight and then not have to worry, yet now he was on the fence of indecision and it was somewhere he had a hard time moving from.
She mentioned beating him to an inch of his life and he chuckled, she was confident, she probably had a right to be so, but it was still funny. "Hmm... that does sound like fun, being dominated by a powerful woman, it would certainly be something that's never happened before" He gave her a smile again, and continued to think. "I've never been at such an impasse" He said out loud to himself as he continued to stare at her, her presence was intoxicating, he hardly noticed himself leaning towards her.
The words she spoke, the way she moved was intoxicating and hypnotizing, the source of his indecision was her very presence. In a clear headed time Alexander would fight her tooth and nail for insulting this place, he would dream of tearing out her heart, however, his weakness for a pretty face had caught him. "Still" He said in a sort of dream like state as he gazed at her, a woman like her was a weakness that was easily exploited against Alexander, it made him forget his morals and his goals. He was easily caught in the trap of seduction.
It could also be used against Keres should someone come along in the future and catch his eye, but that was neither here nor there.
Tapping his blade against his should, he realized he wasn't actually thinking, his mind was fogged, judgement clouded, all he could think of was the girl in front of him so close. He sighed aloud forgetting where he was and why he was here. "Alright, alright I surrender, your hard to turn down" He said finally.

From his body language, she could tell that he was caught. Oh yes this Umbra was caught in her web. A malicious smile crossed over her face as she looked over the boy again. He really wanted a fight but he wouldn't get one this not. Perhaps when she has finished her modifications on him, she could test his abilities. "I am so glad you decided to join with me. You will not regret your choice." The female let a clawed hand brush his cheek before she spun around on a heel. Almost instantly the scenery around them changed. They were no longer standing under the sun in the death stained grass. Now they were in her lair. A place she had built underground. There was no sun and no birds. The high ceilings of her place made it seem bigger than it actually was. The old stone walls were made from the strongest rock keeping sound trapped in. The entire place was littered with cages and lab tables. There was equipment and bloodied tools scattered across table tops and the sharp smell of blood was in the air. This was her dungeon. This was her home.
Leaning Nyteri against a table, she picked up a syringe with a rather long needle. As she walked passed the male she stuck the syringe in his neck injecting her drug into him. Bare feet silent against the stone floor she gathered a few things from the many cabinets along the wall. "That drug is just a simple drug I created to keep you from running away. especially if you change your mind on joining with me. You have to stay within my presence otherwise it'll basically kill you. After a while I can modify it and allow you to be farther from me." Keres explained as she grabbed a few other syringes and a jar of dark liquid. Something in a cage against the wall growled but she flicked her finger and it whimpered. Smiling like the mad woman she was, Keres went to a table and placed all her things out on it. There were syringes, knives, a few jars, as well as a few cutting tools. Oh this will be wonderful.
"Well now shall we begin? I am going to start off by replacing your eye. I have something I have tweaked with. Though it will require a few more injections. I hope your mind is capable of holding so much information." The female turned to lean against the table as she motioned for him to get on a lab bed. Her entire mood had changed. How she was acting was different than before. While her movements were still predatory she wasn't nearly as seductive. Now she was excited. She had something new to play with. There was so much she could do with him. So much she could add and make him into the perfect subject. Eyes settling on him, they gleamed with the excitement and anticipation she held. This was going to be quite fun.

Somewhere in his mind an alarm was sounding off, like the siren before nuclear war, yet its desperate plea fell upon deaf ears and its warning was lost to oblivion. His words in response to the gleeful statement regarding his joining with her was another thing lost, he opened his mouth for a cocky retort, but the words died in his throat when hand delicately brushed his cheek. He let the words fall to the way side and be forgotten as he gave her a smile (and an appraising look) as she spun around. The world shifted, there was no transition; the world simply blinked, and they were in a new place. Removed from the grave site of the fallen and in a place far more sinister and filled with the woes of those trapped here.
His eye didn't falter from following Keres, the surrounding environment was nothing to him except a backdrop for their interaction. A stage for two actors to play out a scene, though a wiser man might observe the set stage and wonder what sort of tale was about to be told and whether or not one of the actors had stepped into role il-prepared. Suddenly a needle was at his neck. He watched curiously, only vaguely within the world at the moment as she told him the effects of the drug, once more the fact that he was drunk on this girl hindered his common sense, or else he might have been at least on some level troubled by the words she so casually spoke.
"Alright" he said softly his only words in what felt like an eternity; she listed off somethings that she would be doing to him. A new eye roused him slightly slightly from his stupor like a child waking from an awesome dream only to drift back again again. The idea of a new eye was interesting and Alexander made his way to the lab bed, there was a chance he might not wake up part of him realized, but this fleeting thought like a candle in the wind was blown out without any trouble at all.
"Of course it is, don't underestimate me for a moment" Alexander spoke with a dispassionate voice as he relaxed on the table. Deja vu washed over him he had been in a similar setting in Germany once, dungeon, pretty girl, high risk of doom.. sensing her excitement and anticipation, Alexander had a feeling this would end in exactly the same way, well, hopefully he would still have both kidneys when this was over. (yes that was a terrible post, but it was the only one I could think of...turns out studying the science of magnetism kills your inspiration)
